Well once again I will be at the conference games as I was this season. I do hope we can bring some better teams in the non-conf schedule. It's really hard to get excited about the likes of Jarvis Christian and Belhaven college. And I really don't care to see the major teams like Texas or A&M, but at least some good mid-major teams like maybe ORU or some team that's been in the tournament the last couple of years. Maybe with our birth in the dance it will help to schedule teams like that.

Ok....as we get a little closer to Friday....anyone made plans on where to watch the game?? Riprocks? Super Pit? Hooters???

I was thinking of riprocks as well, but I would also like to enjoy the game with loads of people. Anyone else decided yet on what they're doing??

We also had a great time! A lot more people than I expected to be there! My favorite part was seeing FFR in his '88 NTSU Championship shirt! FFR, how the hell do you fit into a 19 year old shirt????

Ok, I know it's only Monday, but after yesterday I am so excited I can't wait for Friday to get here!! I really wish that I could make that drive to NO and be there, but work schedule won't let me get away this week. So I was wondering, does anybody have plans to meet in Denton and watch????

THE Wife and I were talking (as NT won the game last night) and we were wondering when was the last time the BB team got a National TV Game. I told her I'd post it on here, I'm sure someone will know.................

After the Press Conference last night the wife and I decided to make the trip and support our new coach. He really wants to experience this with Riley, he made mention of it several times. So if you can get away Saturday and show how excited and supportive the Mean Green Nation can be.

This is year is the first year that the wife and I have decided to make at least 2 away games. I already have my tickets for Tulsa and we looking forward to making another away game later in the year.....hopefull that will another trip to New Orleans????

Here's .02 worth It seemed like Jamario got most of his yards after Woody started making his plays. The SMU defense couldn't just worry about J-mo coming out of the backfield, they had to watch out for Woody as well. Something we have seen much since the passing of Andrew.

Going to be there around 2 pm for this game. Hopefully my green face paint stays on this year. Last year the first couple of home games it was so hot, I didn't make it 'till game time.

There is a greater than 0 chance that I will have 2 tickets on Saturday. In section E. But the only problem is I won't know untill I get there on Saturday. Look for me in the parking lot near the beerman, if you are interested. I drive a 2005 kia spectra and my border of my plates have Go Mean Green and THE JASON on them. First come, first serve.

UNT 24 SMU 3 Weather will be great, Jamario will rush for 200+ It will be a great day to be a Mean Green Fan.

Has anyone heard anything about Hank not being in the broadcast booth this season?? My dad deals with UNT alot as far special promotions and events and usually deals with Hank. He told me that the last couple of weeks he's been dealing with some one else and they told him that Hank would not be in the booth this season, that he was moving on to something else. Probably just a rumor but I wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything.

I'll be waiting to hear his name on Sunday! If he's not drafted, no doubt he'll be picked up on Monday. On my draft board I have him as 3rd best kicker avalible. It all depends on when that first kicker is taken.

I told Devin's mom that we had our butts burned a couple of times giving them scholarships and then when they get done with 2 years they still don't have the grades. She told me she understood that but just wished they had told earlier in the recruiting process so they could have looked at some D-II school. Moral of the story ( I told my 11 year old nephew this the other day, he wants to play baseball for UNT) STUDY HARD TO PLAY HARD AND IT WILL PAY OFF.

[ Devin Godboldt of Liberty Christian signed with Coffeyville CC...question did NT place them there? Since Coffeyville is a major recruiting source for NT it would be a good move and we have a chance when they graduate. ←
