Next yr could be more of the same... What will we do without Cobbs? The players we have on this team just aren't very good (with exception to a handful) and do not stack up to the talent we had from 2002-2004. The next couple of years are going to be rough. -
Cobbs will be missed. Wish he could have had a better Senior yr... without Cobbs this team would be winless.

Its obvious our coaches don't want to be at North Texas...let them go. We need people who will love the school and expect to build North Texas into something more than the best of the worst.

The question everyone should be asking is: Can DD take this program to the next level? I'm going to have to say no... look at his record. If DD stays we will always be the best of the worst.

I remember when we were listed in the top 10 mid majors by acouple websites... but I bet we couldn't have beat anyone on those lists. We were ranked ahead of Memphis and USM. Those lists mean absolutely nothing when you can't beat anyone on them.

Our 2002 and 2003 team would have faired pretty well in the WAC... but this 2005 team is a different story.

USC barely pulled out a win... CAN ANYONE SAY TEXAS AT #1 THIS WEEK!!! USC = OVER RATED. ....I hope Dickey watched the last part of this game.

My first Mean Green game was in 2002 against LAMO and we won something like 42-2.

I'm all for it. Maybe we could get him as the offensive coordinator... Mean Joe Greene as the Defensive coordinator or head coach. Can you say hello massive media attention? Off topic... but doesn't the LAMO band sound a lot better than ours?

Lets just be competitive out of the the SunBelt... I am getting fed up with losing all of the out of conference games. Beating Colorado or Kansas St would generate more fans than winning the Sun Belt. We need a coach who knows he can build the North Texas Mean Green into a top 25 program. Dickey doesn't think that... woe is me.
