Patrick made the screen pass look good... he made a nice run for a first down. I was impressed. This happened in the first quarter, acouple plays later they talked about Cobbs and mentioned he was now finally getting back to full strength after a knee injury. Bob Davy talked highly about Cobbs.

WOW great news... now if we can just find the right QB. Will Woody answer our prayers?

It sure is going to be strange not seeing Cobbs out on the field this year. I hope JaMario can get back to normal.

Seeing Booger dominate the Texas offensive line was something else. I would give anything to have him back this year.

Lists mean nothing... Look at Cobbs, Hurd, Spencer, Cardwell, Kassel, etc. 1/3 of those on that list will be busts.

My thing with tattoos... A lot of the people you see today just get them to fit in or be cool. A tattoo should having meaning or importance. Many of these young girls go out and get lower back tattoos so they can look "hot". Lets see how "hot' they look in 30 years.

Agreed... he is a good player and with that size he will get some looks. One less player we will have to deal with.

Brandon Kennedy... brought the most recognition to the Mean Green since Mean Joe Greene.

I know for a fact that one of the areas Indian tribes either Comanche or Kiowas had a very good relationship with Midwestern State and had no problem with the mascot. I believe they gave their blessings to each and every student and faculty member. If that is the case I see no reason why they were FORCED to change the name to Mustangs (still relates to native american heritage).

From what I have heard The University of Pheonix Online is going to have a monster of a team this year.

I would have had more confidence going into the Texas game if we had Byerly at QB. Meager is average... Phillips has a shot to be good...lets hope Woody can get it done. I'll take a 6'4 250 pound QB over Meager who is very injury prone... especially against the National Champions. Because you KNOW Texas is going to be in our backfield most of the night... I want a QB with some strength to break out of that first hit and gain some yards. Meager gets taken down by a shoestring.

I sure would have liked to see him run over some Texas linebackers. Oh well.
