    I heard from someone who tried to buy tickets to the Army game last week that the person responsible for selling away game tickets was out of the office until tomorrow. You'd think they would have someone who could sell a ticket while someone else is out.

    This. Our alumni and students and Denton County are not the problem. Losing is the problem. If ever the administration decides to not tolerate bad coaching hires, a poorly run athletics department and losing, there will be plenty of butts in seats.

    Hope you're right, but I'm dubious. I realize that the primary purpose of the University is not to have successful athletics, but it is a key area that he manages as an administrator. Thus far, no steps (visible, public ones, at least) have been taken to right that ship.

    Aside from the losing, this is the biggest beating of going to games. To me, that song is synonymous with losing. Seems like, if we aren't already behind when they play it, it just spells the doom that is to come.
