I see a two-pronged marketing issue. One problem is getting an effective message to existing students. The other is marketing the University in a was that attracts a larger percentage of students more inclined to support athletics. UNT is way behind on both. While I agree to some extent with those who say "just win", that's just not enough. I've never seen the University put forth anything I'd characterize as a full court marketing press to increase attendance.

I was at the NDSU game Monday night and have been at several of their championship games in Frisco. Every time, I think "I wish I could bring our fans here to see how football works." Both teams fans yell when their team is on defense...on 1st down!

My group is meeting at the Downtown Carrollton station at 11:30. Lunch and beers at the Londoner and then off to the Boulevard.

This. Unless/until the BOR and Administration decide to "...make winning at revenue sports a priority", we will only have the occasional good season more or less by accident.

When you're the worst in the country, even a vast improvement doesn't get you to acceptable. The defense is still awful and another team is going to us before this season is over.

Agree, but it clearly says "without relegation". Not sure how promotion without relegation works.

Audio was much improved last night. I didn't detect any less "loud get pumped music". The sound was just better and not ear-bleed loud. Also, crowd size was impacted by home game fatigue. Your not going to get the same 25,000 people to show up 3 of 4 weeks.

Script is awful. All green is awesome. Anytime we are not wearing white tops, we should be wearing all green.
