I think I am almost ready to think about the possibility of maybe considering the chances of contemplating taking up golf again. Of course I want to have the UNT golf bag, UNT head covers, UNT golf towel and UNT umbrella to go with my UNT golf shirt, UNT golf shorts, UNT golf hat, and UNT underwear. I can get the head covers and towel from UNT Bookstore online. Not as easy getting the umbrella and bag. Any shopping location suggestions where to find the bag and umbrella? I doubt anyone makes UNT golf shoes so I will have to find an alternative for that.

This seems to be a going trend. In Lewisville, an newly minted LHS grad (18 year old) ran for Mayor this weekend. I will see if I can get the results of the election. Speaking of elections, I am VERY DISAPOINTED in the election turnout in this country. I voted today at about 1PM in Lewisville. Total that had voted as of 11:30AM...41. Pathetic. So basically, about 100-200 people are going to elect the Mayor, a city councel place, and LISD schoolboard member for a city of 80,000.

Just shows the ideas that built that stadium in 1959 (or so) do not work today. DYING to get a new stadium.

I was a year after you. THE Denton High School 1979 Back when Denton and Lewisville were in the same district and played eachother. They haven't played in about 20 years. Lewisville is 5A and Denton is 4A now.

That's rough. He only has one more year left. Not sure if he is "NBA material." If he is it might be worth sitting a year and playing the next season if he has enough eligibility. If he isn’t on his way to the NBA, then it really doesn’t matter what he does.

FAU and UL-L only have 11 games scheduled. Looks like those two will be doing some last minute scrambling. Might even have to dip into the D-1AA ranks like MTSU did (Tennessee Tech).

Everyone's picking UNT to lose big to Texas. It will probably happen but I don't think it will be a shutout like 2 years ago. I can see NT getting into the endzone at least once. Remember all the problems NT had last year with a redshirt freshman as QB. While I don't expect a total collapse by UT, I figure they will have some problems too. 30-7 UT win...maybe 40.

Glad the 200 section is avialable. Like any other stadium with the really hight seats (usually called "Heaven" because the next stop after those seats IS Heaven). I was there 2 years ago (missed last year) and I was at the top ot the stadium. RECOMENDATION FOR $1 HOTDOG NIGHT: GET ALL YOUR HOTDOGS AT THE FIRST OF THE GAME. YOU WILL WASTE AN INNING AND A HALF OR MORE IF YOU GO IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME. Dress warmly too. That game I went to two years ago we had to leave early. It was cold, windy and Texas was loosing and I was hobbled with my foot surgery.

I didn't know RA was working on a knuckleball. When the knuckleball (for any pitcher) is working well, it is as unhitable as a high 90s fastball. When the knuckleball is not working, it is like putting it on a tee for the hitter.
