I know Fielder is not taking Kin spot in the field or even the batting order. Kins was a good top of the order guy. Elvis has to stay consistant and Profar will have to come of age to also be a top of the order guy.

NT basketball is in a state of chaos that Benford will have to clean up quickly. Not sure he can do that. I suspect NT will be middle of the road at best in the C-USA basketball for this year and maybe next.

This means Elvis really has to step up at the top of the order for Texas to be sucessful. Kins does not have the power Fielder has but Fielder does not have the speed to steal bases Kins has. It will be interesting next season.

Someone with computer artistic talent needs to make a poster with the Mean Green defense in front of the west endzone and big letters across the top "THE STAND" I'm just the idea man. The artests can make that idea come to life.

I'm sorry I missed out commenting on this. I LOVE Burn Notice. I got hooked on a marathon after the first season and watched it always each week. I hated to see the series end but the truth is that it went as far as it could. There is only so long you can follow a burned spy. They kept killing off his antagonists. The whole last season was very different from the rest of the series. Very grim. Very dark. Finale - great ending. Hated see Matie die.

Now the football team has their "Tuxedos" same as the basketball team.

RIP Flying Worm. We loved you in your time and bask in your nostalgia including the year NT finished 6th in the nation and DIDN'T get invited to a bowl game. Travesty. This also goes with the rounded NT in a football shape (Joe Greene last season). I would be happy with interlocking NT or the SOW. Not fond of the North Texas on the side.

5PM on FCS Cent on Thursdays. I saw the show and it was pretty good. Not sure if this is supposed to replace Mean Green Insider or if it is in addition to. Still do not see any listings for MGI.

How could it influence either election (2008 or 2012)? The decision on Obamacare was this year. Basic Government from high school - the three branches are checks and balances against each other. I realize the State of Texas elects its state supreme court justices, but the last thing we need to do is politicize the US Supreme Court further. The justices have a history of staying above the ideological arguments and be impartial. I am sure almost everyone can point out a few cases here and there over the entire history of the court where justices played politics but the better ones stayed away from that. As a whole the court has stayed away from politics and done a good job. Can you imagine the ciaos if the justices had to run for election every 2-4 years? I agree with term limits for Senators and Representatives. The people who are against it are the ones in power at the time. There should not be "career politicians."

I was so used to the paycheck games and getting smacked around to open the season I forgot what it was like to go 1-0. Now look in your archives to see when UNT last went 2-0.

Just takin' it one game at a time. Glad we made it to 1-0. Been a while since UNT started 1-0. I just remember too may paycheck games to open the season. Then hope UNT goes 2-0.
