    I thought it almost did in the 1980's? If it didn't die then, it won't die now. There is enough attendance to keep things going. Unfortunately, football drives the bus for funding itself and other athletics and even the university itself. Don't look for football to go away from North Texas...EVER.

    UNT doesn't need to narrow the HC field...other schools are doing that for us. Why do I get the feeling NT is going to settle for "the one who is left" after everyone else grabs everyone else? Not starting rumors...just a feeling.

    Plus I think having Baylor in the B12 was a big point for Texas, Tech, and aTm. Members of the Texas CONGRESS did not want the B12 to form w/out Baylor.

    I think TJT went on to win state that year. I know Tyler John Tyler has won state w/in the last 10 years or so.

    First win for aTm in 6 years against their "arch rival." Good news is Mac Brown keeps his job. Bad news is Franch keeps his job (I thought they were about ready to ride him out of town on a rail).

    Don't be so quick to give USC the title just yet..... Ohio State is number one all season for a reason.

    I would love to see more then one team go bowling. More money for the conference schools. Just because a team is eligible does not mean they automatically go. There have been a few years SBC eligible schools have been snubed.

    The point is to not only recruit from the area, but expand state and nation wide. Whoever the RV selects, he needs to have him in place before the start of the year. After that, we are falling farther behind then what we already are.

    NT was in a conference with them for way too long. Should know at least a little about Idaho and their small indoor stadium.

    Doesn't matter... Another Buckeye Championship I love BCS Chaos!. The only thing better is if Ohio State lost a game along the way and now all of the 1 loss teams are claiming stake to the championship game.

    Nice win for the women to get them off the shnide. Play PVAM next, then back on the raod for the girls. Dec. 9 is at SMU. I have to work that night but maybe several locals can help put some voices in the seats for the women in Dallas.

    I hope to be listening to this game. This is a big confidence builder game for NT. While a loss would not be devisating to this team, a win would be huge for JJ and company.
