It goes to that "polished turd" rant I have made before. You see UT, OU, LSU, Bama, et al ad nausium stull all over the place. A lot of it is crap to be honest. UNT is a little stengy with the licensing. The usual stuff is out there: hats, shirts, pants, et al. But you don't see any wooden footballs with UNT logo on it but I know you can find UT turds like that.

Just saw the last edition of Beyond the Green with the win in the Hart of Dallas Bowl. Before, the Mean Green Insider kept going during the spring with information about basketball, softball and soccer. I cannot tell if that will be the case with Beyond the Green. Anyone know anyone who would know?

First time in 8 (?) years SEC did not win the national championship. I would not be ready to kick dirt on the SEC grave yet. Let's see what the next 3-5 years holds. If they get shutout of the championship game or tourny then we can start talking of the SEC decline. Till then...wait and see.

For all you computer artesets who can make images and alter images - idea for an avatar. Create an image like Clark Kent pulling open his shirt to revial the big red "S" on his chest. Change that "S" to the SOW image. BAM! Epic! I am good with computers but not with artistic things like that.

I would think this has already been posted but I could not find it posted elsewhere. The game versus Tulsa is moved to 1:30PM. The game is on Fox One but I can't find it on the TV listings today. Maybe they have not updated their schedule. Maybe Verizon FIOS is behind. Maybe FSO is behind. I don't see the game listed on Fox Sports website or on FIOS.
