Best place to play darts: Tavern (on Fry St close to the English building) Of course the best place of all time, space and demension for darts in Denton is no longer in existance: Prairie Street Pub ("The Pub"). cheap beer and lots of darts. THE BEST. If there were a Denton Darts Hall of Fame...this place would be the only entry.

Oh...and Chicago Cubs. I started following the Cubs when Harry Carey was there in 1980s. Felt the first "sting" of being a suffering Cub fan when they went to the playoffs for the first time in eons against San Diego in 1984. Best of 5 series at the time. Beat SD twice in Chicago and could not win a game on the coast. Ouch!

I don't know how accurate this is (sonce I got it from a HS coach and PT college coach)... In order...the job of a college head coach (in any sport): 1. Recruiting 2. Fund Raising 3. Coaching the team.

All NT Hats at Lids Z 100, NCAA Franchise, Rope A Dope, NCAA Prodigy, and Apprentice are the ones I like the most available. Not too fond of the others (and the Child One-Fit would not fit me). I guess they don't have the one I bought from a store in Tyler recently.

THIS is why we need an all UNT sports bar in Denton. Not sure which bars in the area will show the game. Probably have to stay close to Fry Street (Riprocks, Cool Beans, Tavern) to see if they can get the game. Might even call.

I will be a big supporter of UNT baseball when it becomes a varsity sport. Till then I have to settle for Texas and Texas Tech. for professional baseball, I like the Rangers most but also follow Yankees. I was a Yankee fan before MLB came to Arlington.

I would say YES...but I would still like to see a big season from JMO before he graduates. He had that one game against Colorado for 200+ yards and blew out the SBC. Like to see him get back to that one more time.

WHAT WOULD GO University of North Texas $2.8 for Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science, a program for gifted high school students who live and study at UNT for two years. Didn't President Bush call for (in at least one of his State of the Union addresses) an increase in math and science programs for high schools and colleges? This sounds like Perry just WACKED it for UNT and the state of Texas. and... Texas Woman's University $334,000 for Institute for Women's Health, which promotes disease prevention and health for women and girls Math/Science and Healthcare: two of the biggest concerns of people in this state and country and Perry WACKS both of them. VOTE DEMOCRAT As a "red" state, this place is going down the tubes.

NICE GOING SAN DIEGO. They put Marty on the market 3 days after Dallas (and everyone else) hired a coach. I'm not saying I necessarily want Marty Shottenhymer as the coach...but it would have been nice to have the opportunity to interview him.
