I didn't watch the video but you gota believe. UT is not the big powerhouse they have been in the past when they beat NT 70-0 (or something resembling that the last few times they played). Sure NT will be an underdog but I think NT can compete. The thing UT has to be careful of is if they let NT hang around long enough this can be a loss for the Deadhorns. And not that piracy and travisty from 1988 (or whatever year it was) that the refs blew a call that cost NT the game. Not going to do the stupid "predictions" or anything but I look for a close game.

I actually had an interview at the UNT Law School a few months ago. It isn't at the old City Hall. It is downtown Dallas at 1901 Main Street. Nice renovation. Didn't get the job...but a nice building anyway. http://lawschool.untsystem.edu/

There aren't a lot of years UT is "weak." Let's face it. Going 7-5 or even 6-6 would be "devastating" for them. This could be the year UNT plays close to UT and dare I say…Win?

There are other threads for Chancellor and Orr but there are 4 or 5 UNT grads who didn't get drafted but did sign to at least go to spring training and a chance to make the team.

I like playing Texas Tech again. It's been a while. Maybe we can convince them of playing UNT in football too. Yes I know beating them in football all those years ago is a sore subject for Tech. We beat them in basketball before too and it wasn't such a black mark in thier history.

So the bad news is no UNT players selected. Good news is a lot of them are invited to mini-camps. I don't have who is going where in front of me but there will be many opportunities to cheer for Mean Greeners in the preseason at least.

Round 2 Storms were heavy all over. I am in Lewisville and an a fisherman and hope Lewisville and Ray Roberts fill up.

I just hope all of these visits and signings turn into an improved basketball team.

It was "spring game practice" for almost everyone...Boomer, scoreboard and replay, refs, concessions. The only ones not there were cheerleaders and flag corp.

I hard a good time for my first Spring Game. I wore my circa 1969 logo hat. Thank you to KRAM1 for meeting with me. I met Emmitt01 there (I didn't recognize who was with him). I was hoping to meet more there. If you were there and I did not see you, maybe at the next function. And maybe have a designated meeting place if only for a short time.

MY OPINION ONLY. NO NEWS REPORT OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. Since India gets a lot of military support from Russia and Pakistan (probably) still hates us because of the mimitary operation there...I suspect the US is not real popular in that area.
