Don't understand it. Didn't they do like the NFL and move the ball up for the kickoff? Even if they didn't, no advantage to having a strong kicker. Gota have your kicker lay off and hit the 1 yard line. An average return is 20 yards...maybe more. I the ball is 1 yard deep and I know I can't get to the 25, might as well take a knee for the touchback.

In Dallas - KTXA 21 @ 6PM. I have Verizon FIOS and the on screen channel guide shows Jepardy! and something else. Don't believe it. This is the same channel guide that did not update to show Mean Green Insider was on at 6AM today.

I was in Arkansas in some small town. I had my UNT t-shirt on. Actually it was the eagle flanked by “North” and “Texas.” Guy in a store says "North Texas State playing LSU today?" I politely replied “University of North Texas…yes.” We’ve only been University of North Texas for 17 years or so. You would think it would have caught on by now.

For UNT to make the top 25: 1. Win the games they are supposed to - almost all of the Sunbelt games 2. At least quality showings against top OOC opponents 3. No more then 10-12 losses for the season 4. (this one will be the hardest) More then 25 wins for the season Doing all of this will also help in the "at large" NCAA bid as well.
