Last week MTSU was in the top 25 in RPI. #23 I think. Not sure if that fell or raised since then. If they don't stumble and fall in the conference tournament they could still get an at large bid.

There is a price to pay and it will come in the form of draft location and the NFL salary that comes with it. His draft prospect has dropped because of this and that means a loss in potential salary. Character does get considered when drafting. He will get picked up by some team. It just may not be in the draft position he was expecting.

I started to watch the second half against Middle Tenn on the 31st and after a few minutes I had to just turn away. I'm sorry but I have a hard time watching my teams get smack down. I root for The Mean Green but it is hard to watch when you know the outcome. I figure most of the games this year will be that way.

Bash the Cowboys all you want but I take one positive out of this season: The last 8 games Dallas was 5-3 which is an improvement over last year when they limped into the game against the Giants and got smacked up. I think I saw Dallas has the #16 draft pick. Get a good player there and a few others and Dallas won't have to worry about the end of the season. Speaking of limping...I know Dallas isn't the only team that had injury problems. Maybe the NFL should consider increasing the rosters to something closer to 60?

I am surprised that Washington and Colorado decided to legalize pot. Talk about a taboo subject for a politician.... Regardless of how other states legalize it I still would not use pot. I out grew it in college about 30 years ago. After school, I got into jobs that REALLY disapprove of the recreational use of pot (like the airlines). I had long since quit using it by then. If by some fluke a vote came up in Texas for legalization of pot, I might vote for it…but I definitely would not be a user.
