Some good points above. I think seeing the QB play thursday night and knowing that Riley had 3 more years of elibibility will help recruiting especially in regards to WR's. An interesting question is whether Crabtree would have gone to TT if Harrell hadn't been there. Hopefully we can attract a player or two like Crabtree (or Trabtree).

It really looked like Blount's apology was nothing more than spin control. You can't excuse what he did but there did appear to be taunting along with physical contact initiated by the Boise State player.

Other than the players that some of you have "adopted" for the season, who are the players that you are excited to see develop throughout the season? For me, Jamaal Jackson.

WR was totally out of bounds. Even the commentators seemed a little confused why a hat was thrown and it wasn't even discussed and after review, the call was upheld. That was just plain bad but might have been a makeup for the umpire getting in the way. Luckily, it wasn't decisive.

This does look like a totally different team. More physical play, more speed, and a different attitude equals road win. I'm loving it.

I agree with this whole statement. I just can't get truly excited; I'll be optimistic when there is reason to be. Until then, I'll just be anxious.
