  1. A legit question but to get back in he'll have to succeed here.
  2. And while I like Canales, at this point who's to say that we don't need a clean break?
  3. Ok. I really like Canales, but is this sample size really enough to totally convince people that he is the right guy period?
  4. Yeah, but Lou Holtz is a moron.
  5. Bill Belichick didn't exactly tear it up with the Browns. I hope this is a good fit for McCarney.
  6. Great win. Although I didn't get to stay for the whole game, there was a great atmosphere at the pit tonight.
  7. I'm guessing this has probably happened to everyone on this board.
  8. I hear what you're saying. I guess I'm not sure what constitues Leach's lack of class. Among my Tech friends it was unanimous that they wanted him in Lubbock. It's a moot point. He ain't coming here.
  9. Oh no. Craig James has hijacked someones account. jk.
  10. Why would you say no to Leach?
  11. Is this a real post?
  12. I'm guessing RV simply reached his boiling point considering the amount of S!@# he has witnessed thus far.
  13. Some teams find ways to win games. Not all.
  14. I feel awful for our guys but is 100 yards of penalties our best?
  15. I'm sure some will say yes.
  16. I'd say our penalties trump the refs.
  17. Wow. $MU up 7-0 early. Is it the Adidas uniforms or just reality that make the ponies look so much more athletic than, say, another team in the area that wears, oh I don't know, Under Armour? Not trying to take a shot at our players, but that's my initial impression.
  18. This game should be called "battle of the birkenstocks."
  19. The Case Against College Athletic Recruiting I want some opinions of this article from people on this board because while all here are football fans I think most of us here are very objective. On a side note I got this link from www.thinkdenton.com who posted it on facebook. The article was posted with the comment "For anyone else troubled with the building new stadiums for bad football teams... 'You probably would conclude that these American institutions of higher learning have their priorities weirdly out of whack. And you would be right'." This coming from the same guy who did not at all like the fact that pictures, etc. of the new stadium were going to be displayed at UNT on the Square. That being said, try to read the article objectively.
  20. Also, what if the ghost of Bear Bryant expressed interest in the UNT coaching job?
  21. I don't think they'd ever come but I like it too on name recognition alone and the fact that they have legit D-I experience.
  22. Not a bad idea in theory. I'm pretty sure that changing offenses that drastically would make us look more anemic.
  23. Agree with the whole post but especially with this part. Where else would Dodge have lasted this long with this record? And again, he has only truly succeeded at ONE school: SLC.
  24. My vote goes to an assistant from a well-known school who can recruit who can double as a strong OC or DC.
  25. Cue "we are the champions."
