    I don't think any of us expect the offense to put up huge numbers in the first game, against one of the nation's best defenses. Considering that, I think it's very important that the D minimize the big plays, and set the tone for the rest of the season.

    I don't like thsi simply because I would love to go the Hurricanes play in the OB and it would be even better if they played against my favorite team. I know it's wierd that Miami is probably my 2nd favorite D-I team but I was looking forward to the 08 opener anyways.

    Agreed. Meager has experienced his share of hits and rough games. At this point (if things are even of course) he should be by far the mentally tougher QB. Meager gets my vote.

    He has good size to be a tackle. You gotta be a little concerned about his 40 time but that can improve.

    It appears that it really doesn't. The NCAA just wants to put something down on paper to make it look like they're punishing someone.
