If the team were to win the conference tournament, we would likely be a 16 seed. Provided that we didn't end up in the play-in game, I think being the coach of the first 16 seed to win in the first round would probably be enough. All of this is hypothetical since I have no reason to believe that we win more than one game.

The people making money don't care about rewarding anyone but themselves. That is the point, they see an opportunity to line their pockets and they don't really care about the implications.

The bowls are getting watered down with all the new ones, but this has absolutely nothing to do with participation ribbons. If you think that a new bowl is about giving more players a chance to participate, then there are people blowing their noses with $100 bills that would love to regale you with more tales about how much they "care" about college athletes.

He does have a really awesome nephew who REALLY wanted to talk in the mic.

I went from an B+ to an A- and now back to B+. I just am not sure that this class is enough given the instability at TSU and UTSA. I probably would have held him steady if we had poached a little more from those two, but we didn't. I don't see that rating changing until we play meaningful games again unless he goes out and gets a bunch of recruits on board over the summer, including a QB.

Thank you for the response. Hopefully we are working towards some of these other things so that AAU gets in play. I know that would be a major feather in our cap if we can achieve it. Sounds like some of these other things would be great adds to the prestige of the university.

This is a fantastic achievement! Do we know if UNT is pursing AAU membership? I am hoping that we keep going to try to gain prestige by pursing other recognition.
