  1. Only if we get rid of the stripe down the middle of the helmet.
  2. Obviously, it shouldn't be white. That is SO high school.
  3. I would prefer to actually be able to see my team play an away game every now and again without traveling halfway across the country.
  4. One pick, one pass breakup. Great game. Thanks to Med for getting this all set up. Thanks to Rick for some great food afterwards.
  5. Neither. You just present the largest, easiest target to hit. That, and you usually talk so much, that we have become proactive so we can get a word in.
  6. But not for a national audience.
  7. Section E is on the 50. Those are the best seats in the house at any stadium. We all know the problems with Fouts, but 50 yard line seats are 50 yard line seats. If I recall correctly, D&F are also going to have a donation requirement, and you can only avoid that if you renew early. Anyone who renews late or is a new season ticket holder will have to pay (I believe $250) to sit in those sections as well. Because I sit in section F and donate $500, does that make me some kind of sucker? If you want the "good seats," it will cost you more. It may not be fair, but that is the way it is. This is a pretty humorous thread to me, considering that we are always complaining about not being "Big Time," and when we do something "Big Time," all we want to do is complain about it. If we want to get to the next level, these kinds of growing pains will occur. Live with it.
  8. If he thinks it will help him win.
  9. I thought it was interesting that the lowest watched game was TCU-Houston, followed closely by Okie State-Indiana. Wasn't the Texas bowl on the NFL network? That is probably a contributor, but that is still very low.
  10. I think he only stays at Kansas if they get close to the money he is being offered. He has nothing left to prove as a college coach, so now he can take the money.
  11. I stand corrected. That makes things worse than I thought. Emmitt, you are entering Buffalo Bills territory.
  12. I would agree that this has been much more quiet than in past years. I would guess that the white team players are trying to keep this from getting too loud so people don't notice when they lose a third straight game. No way white wins, Emmit can't win at solitaire GO GREEN!
  13. Is this the Price is Right? If that is how we are playing this, I will bid 3501, Drew.
  14. I am not sure it is their mouth that they are talking out of.
  15. This would never be on a weekend. The purpose of these things is to drive attendance at games that are normally not well attended, like Monday nights.
  16. That does sounds like a game I want to see every year.
  17. You are talking about a stadium, right?
  18. I didn't think that Dallas had THAT many strip clubs.
  19. There is some interesting inside information. I didn't know that TD's father was joining the program as well. This really is becoming a family affair. Is he going to try out for QB as well? Does his dad have the legs at his age to beat out Vizza and Riley? This creates a whole new controversy and I don't know if we can handle it.
  20. That's just impossible. No one can understand what they are saying.
  21. No. The GC disks are a mini-DVD, Wii disks are a full-size DVD. Plus, the processor for the GC is not as powerfull and would not be able to support the software, let alone the functionality of the Wii.
  22. Really? Must we?
  23. Nice to know that he has high expectations.
  24. It will be hard to even up our schedule as long at the OUs, LSUs, and Floridas of the world are playing 7-8 home games a year. There are only so many ways to even up when there are teams unbalancing the schedule. The only away games some of these teams play are the ones set by their conference. If the NCAA wants to help add a little more parity, then they should mandate a 6 home, 6 away schedule. But that will not be happening any time soon (see $$$).
  25. I have sat in the visiting seats at Memorial stadium, and they are pretty bad. The seats were made of wood and you didn't have a great view of the field. As was pointed out earlier in the thread, the seats being moved are for the late registering upper classmen and under classmen. These are people who didn't get the order in fast enough. They are lucky to get any seats at all. There is another student section that is a better grouping of seats.
