This is a guy that I am excited to see on the field. Lineup looks pretty acurate to me. Hopefully your concerns with the JUCO guys is just being overly concerned. I would probably feel better about them myself if they had been around for Spring practices.

This is an interesting debate. I see both sides on this one and there really isn't an easy solution. What worries me about this kind of legislation is the "snowball effect" that can happen. Whether or not this actually infringes upon liberties is up for debate. It seems that as more and more of this legislation passes, the easier it gets to justify more legislation in the interest of protecting the country. That can lead to a direct violation of our liberty, but the machine will be too big to stop. These kinds of acts should be questioned and challenged so that we always have that ability.

I think that is a call for the elimination of all standing water. I have heard that lakes, ponds, streams, and even swimming pools have victimized many other people. Don't make people learn how to swim, eliminate the need.

In all fairness, the Big East doesn't need to have the conference championship game in their current format. Any conference where all teams play each other, the game is not necessary. There is no excuse for the Big Ten (11) and PAC-10.

The problem that the "Big 6" are going to have with this is that they will have to give a fair seat to the schools that they have worked so hard to keep down. More money splits is not going to make them happy. I agree that any system that doesn't recognize every conference champion would be flawed, but I don't see the schools with the money allowing that to happen as things stand now. The best way for this to work out in our favor is for more schools to move up and for the "midmajors" to outnumber the "Big 6" conference members. Then we can tell them how its going to be for a change. (unless they invite us to join the party, then forget those little schools.)

We may not be able to get rid of them completely at this time, but with the regional matchups being proposed here, maybe we could take it down to just one per year. That would be an improvement.

Careful with that, in my experience, SGA members don't always know as much as they let on.

I think I would rather get a new stadium that seats 30k than to wait for x more years while we try to fund a 45k-50k stadium because somewhere in the future we may need it. We don't fill the stadium we have have with a student body that exceeds the seating availble, and we aren't likely to fill a new one either. Besides, once we do fill it, they will add seating. All universities that routinely sell out their staiums add seating. By your logic, UT, Nebraska, and A&M were all too short sighted when they built their stadiums. Let's just focus on getting the thing built, then worry about whether its enough seating.

I don't know about others, but Fouts has never kept me from a game. It isn't quite that bad to keep me from attending. I would love to be able to watch NT Football in a brand new stadium, but that's not reality right now.

Not sure about that particular store, but the BBB in Lewisville off of Round Grove has some NT merchandise.

I wouldn't say that they need to make a profit, but getting close to breaking even (or even getting close) would be something to work towards.
