Before I get flamed (not that I was flamed above), I want to clarify my statement. I was not saying that it should be considered a disease, I was merely posing a question.

So is this proof, or a link? Were the results conclusive? If it is a hormonal problem, then could it be considered a disease? Would that make it "curable?"

What evidence do we have to suggest that it is naturally occuring? The design of the human body? It doesn't seem to suggest that this is a natural act. Sex, in its most basic function, is to procreate. How is this accomplished between two men or two women? Have we been able to isolate a gay gene? We all make choices. Is it so hard to believe that this is one of them? People make decisions that are against their natural instincts all the time. Self preservation is natural. If people didn't choose to go against that natural instinct, there would be no soldiers fighting wars, no police or firefighters, and no suicide.

On a completely unrelated topic, doesn't the title of this thread paint a lovely picture. I think this is the most likely way the preacher is going to describe it.

Exactly my point. You can say that UT is better, but you have no evidence to back it up. Tech has beaten everyone that they have played. You can't prove that anyone is better right now.

This thread has really degenerated into something that is fascinating to read, and a little uncomfortable at the same time. It's like listening to another guy get yelled at by his wife while you hear the whole thing. Or maybe it is the same...

I am choosing not to comment on the rest of your post. I am not mentioning who I voted for (I ealry voted). I have no deisre to get into a one vs the other debate. I just wanted to point out that no politician is who they say they are so we were being fair and calling all politicians two-faced liars.

And McCain is? No politician is who they say they are. We have Senators getting jail time for lying, arrested in airport bathrooms, soliciting sex from prostitutes, committing lewd acts in the oval office, having extra-marital affairs, etc. I don't think any of these politicians ran under the slogan "Vote for me, I'm the bigger scumbag." They are ALL liars and none of them are who they claim to be. To say that about one candidate and not the other is just not showing the whole picture.

Not really. The reason that this saying came about was because most people don't remember what they heard, only who they heard about. In 10 years, I doubt that very many people will remember that we had a bunch of kids fail drugs tests, only that they remember us being in the news. In the immediate future, this is a real black eye. In the distant future, this just raises awareness of the university.

I watched Tech play Kansas, and they got under center. If they can do it and be ranked 7th in the nation and be 8-0, then any team can do it. That argument works a lot of ways. Just because another team can do/not do what we do/want to do doesn't mean that we should. Georgia Tech is having a good year, and they run the triple option. Maybe we should go to that. I mean, it is working there, why can't it work here?

Even better, maybe it should BE the helmet sticker! Can you imagine what our helmets would look like with 50 of those all over it!
