I don't understand this logic. He played the game, the stats count. Should we exclude SMU because we aren't in the AAC?

Aggy playing at UCLA Sun Night 6:30 FOX

The line was wrong. -
I don't think there is an "official" reason, but that is the logical explanation. If a student shows up and wants to get in, they still can. They would be taking something of a risk of not getting a ticket were we able to routinely sell out the stadium, but as of now, not an issue. You can usually see the ticket line at the student side ticket office before games.

For announced attendance, you get to count all tickets "sold". If a student gets a ticket before the game and doesn't show, then they get to count them as attending. If they show up at the game, they still get in. Also, if every student shows up (lol), then the ones with tickets get in and we don't end up with more people than seats.

I think the last thing we want to to put up our fancy new flag pole just to have it blow over at the first gust of wind.

Improving The Game Day Experience

So we only play the Fight Song, Alma Mater, and Fly Like An Eagle. Those are the only songs that actually have something to do with the game. Any others are unrelated and should not be played. Just want to be clear on what you are asking for. -

I agree and don't think we should do it, I just understand why some like it. -

No, now that we are closer to the field, it is too easy to land one on the field. Not worth it and while it has some roots here, it is a borrowed tradition. There is a story there, but I am not going to tell it since I wasn't there. I am sure that someone will chime in shortly. -
Will Kiffin Be Gone After 1 Year?
forevereagle replied to AustinFromUNT's topic in UNT Football Recruiting
Sure, but why would he leave FAU for another SB or CUSA school? He is only leaving for a P5 job, and those schools are likely going to look at his history and wait on him to prove he can handle the job for longer than one year. -

I don't know, he has a rep for pouring gas all over everything and dropping a match on his way out of town. Tennessee would be a great example of how he leaves jobs. I think he will have to be in Florida for a few years and prove that he is capable of being a more than one year coach. -
Will Kiffin Be Gone After 1 Year?

If Santa gets him what he is asking for, yes, year one will be year only. The real question is will anyone actually be interested in taking him after one year given his history. -
Do they? There are no corporate or group purchases there? Are we really sure that there are really 17 people? This was always a myth, one that is continually propagated on here, that needs to go away.

And that post was in jest because it was a count of the number of suites at Apogee.

First rule of down votes: don't talk about down votes. -
No stadium re-entry, going to need to anticipate the need.

If you go to some of these events and talk with them, they do tend to share some information, just not for public consumption (kind of understood in the conversation). I have never had them ask me what my donation level is before talking to me and being candid about some of these kinds of things.
