For those interested in Liberty and it's facilities
oldguystudent replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
My daughter is about to take biology at UNT this fall. I hope that's not the curriculum. Can't I just be pissed off in the here and now? -
This is obviously the coup Wren Baker was after in dropping the Army games. Well played, sir. Well played.

They've been pushing for those national merit scholars HEAVILY. Those kids get, and I quote, "Cadillac scholarship packages." I'm all for it.

A fact can never be more stone cold than that one!

Somebody give me a metric here. For example, if .300 is the gold standard for batting in baseball, what's the equivalent in APR?

Wren's from Mizzou, right? Well, I'm in a Missouri state motto state of mind: Show Me -
Has Nathan ever spoken of his time at UNT after the fact? He had a pretty rough go of everything, so I wonder what he might be saying good or bad to his little brother.

Mark my words. By 2021 Liberty will be a full member of CUSA and we'll get Tulsa'd for OOC home game scheduling. -
The Richest Programs in College Football
oldguystudent replied to Mean Green 93-98's topic in Mean Green Football
Texas has been number 1 for twenty years (I remember this very same topic on the cover of SI in the nineties), and they still can't pull out of the post Mack Brown spiral. They really should be winning national championships at everything, but they don't anymore, and I've not figured out why. (Not that I'd ever root for them..like at all) -
While I will continue to push for heavy recruiting and hiring of graduates from the UNT accounting program because they tend to come out hungry, hard working, lunch pail type accountants, in every other aspect, I swear to all things righteous and holy that if it involves marketing, branding, athletics, wheeling, dealing, stealing, operations, lacerations, or deciding once and for all on a single shade of green, I'm beginning to think that UNT is an acronym that somehow translates to "F it up"

To be fair, I did turn down employment that paid less than the benefits I was receiving a couple of times. It didn't make economic sense, and I had a very young child with well child pediatrician visits to consider. Took me about nine months to find a job that would cover the rent and offer insurance.

CUSA to go all-in on Twitter streaming
oldguystudent replied to Christopher Walker's topic in Mean Green Football
Well, I was gonna wish for an end to disease and sickness, but then I wouldn't be able to watch football. -
Former Bball players under investigation
oldguystudent replied to Lurker's topic in Mean Green Basketball
This was on the Ticket this afternoon. They portrayed it as UNT basketball players soliciting sex from students. No Baylor comparisons, so we got that goin' for us, which is nice. -

Well that was easy. That wasn't there yesterday. Thanks! -

Somebody tell me how to get this going through my Roku 1. There is apparently no twitter app for Roku, but there appear to be some workarounds. -

You know better than I do, but I'm pretty sure I've read that the reach of university police is much broader than most suspect due to that whole state agency thing. How much of that goes into practice, I have no idea. They're mighty fine at writing parking tickets. That's all I really know.
