  1. That UNT version of the highlights is hilarious. They showed two offensive plays, one being the sole touchdown, which they played three times.
  2. Depending on whether you want to subtract for the $25 per game parking pass, my per game, per ticket cost is either $174 or $186. And I'm only lowly silver level.
  3. I am near certain that I've seen people wearing helmets in Apogee, and I think that there are some full sized helmets available in the stadium store, but I'm not sure.
  4. Thanks for the clarification. It was indeed a confusing email. That said, kinda curious what a single game suite goes for. Did you get that out of them? Edit: And I can't help but laugh that some database administrator thinks I'm a "selected" folk! Edit edit: Is this implying that the club is nearly sold out and that it was a smart move of me to get in on the ground floor when the cost was prohibitively expensive relative to my income? Good.
  5. I dreamt last night that Portland St. was on our schedule again.
  6. Probably to outdo Craig and kill SIX hookers.
  7. Are there any 24 hour joints left for students to go for late night "study" sessions? And by study sessions, I of course mean a place to go soak up all the beer they've inhaled that night. Edit: There's Denny's and Waffle House across the freeway still, right?
  8. Standfurd is currently a 30 point favorite. Ouch!
  9. Well, they did try to put the kabosh on people essentially doubling their club seats by buying guest passes for each game, so maybe there are similar controls in place here. I didn't get a letter this year on guest pass policy. Do we still have that? Edit: As @Green Crazy stated, he didn't get that email, so maybe this is effectively the new way to get guest passes, and they aren't on sale to the general public.
  10. Got that email notification a couple days ago. Thoughts? I think it's a great idea so long as there's economic advantage for me to continue with the season tickets.
  11. Naw, just spectating. I've played fantasy league one time and found it way too labor intensive.
  12. I gotta figure out how to cast twitter and facebook to my phone now. I bought a cheapo Walmart "smart" tv over the summer, but its apps are captive. I have an old Roku 1 that I can plug into and definitely cast youtube, but not sure about twitter and facebook. They're (twitter and facebook) gonna need to make it easy to put on a big screen and fast.
  13. The 6-point kick has to be a drop kick where it bounces once before you kick it, right?
  14. I think I remember watching it back long before ESPN was relevant and you'd see sports like women's field handball and stuff. I'm looking over the rules in wiki and it appears that they don't really have a touchdown. It's like 6 points for a field goal and 1 point for a kinda sorta missed field goal?
  15. Our work league is so intense and bitterly competitive that you can't even get into it anymore unless somebody dies or quits. I avoid it like the plague. I've seen people stop speaking to each other for years over it.
  16. Nope. You're not being whooshed. I just searched for six flags over texas and that second one came up. That makes more sense.
  17. I don't think Cal would come here, but I sure would like to see UNT play there. Having spent younger, wilder days watching the Big Game from Tightwad Hill, I've always wondered what it's like to, you know, actually go inside the stadium. Big plus, if you're into open minded hippie chicks, Berkeley is the place you wanna spend a weekend and then get the hell outta Dodge.
  18. Rule 1A, paragraph 12, subsection 3b: Whenever a defender of a G5 team shall tackle an offensive player on a P5 team in the open field, there shall be a flagrant targeting foul. This foul is not subject to review.
  19. I can't even remember what the rules were. Wasn't it to pick the winners of all CUSA games each week? I know @THOR wins every year, but I still hope we're doing it.
  20. That's a good question. I think it started out as the student tailgating area. Most likely cash parking. But I don't really know.
  21. I'm completely unfamiliar with this stuff. I was searching for the six flags. So why do these six flags that fly in Austin not match these six flags, which appear to be an old postcard from the amusement park? But this original logo matches the first picture from Austin:
  22. Lulz. Put the responsibility of knowledge of the product/service being sold squarely on the shoulders of the selling party? LOLOLOLOL!!!!
  23. I numbed the pain years ago. Very rarely feel good, bad, or indifferent anymore. I just keep showing up.
  24. I get what you're saying, but is your reply not merely a continuation of "It's entirely the fans' responsibility to find out their own damn information and be proactive in joining the mean green club/buying tickets/being a good fan," that drove thousands of people away in recent years? At the very least, the AD should, as a result of this, give B&N employees a reference card for whom a person should call if they've got these kinds of questions in the future.
  25. I f'ing love that Capper got copied in on this. (What's twitter language for using @somebody'sname? It's not tagging. It's _________) Speaking of shitty customer service, it's three and a half years, and I STILL haven't forgotten your little twitter shitstorm about DT and how much you pissed on the fans over that, Capper.
