  2. I wish UNT stunk as bad as those last two OSU teams.
  3. What would that get him? A collection of paddle stickers?
  4. You know, I was thinking about that last night, and I'd almost be pissed off as an opposing fan watching UNT this year. Even if my team was up by 30-40 points at half time, I'd be pissed that I paid to see an entire football game, not 20 minutes of scrimmage against a team less challenging than my own practice squad.
  5. Off topic, but meanwhile Boise St and Utah roll. Can we envision two BCS busters this year?
  6. Win or lose, I've made a whole new group of great friends that heretofor has made my UNT experience more than I could have hoped for.
  7. Heavily intoxicated at the last BOR meeting from a concoction of green kool-aid and 7-UP, the board members deferred the vote in favor of playing tic-tac-toe with the reams of helmet stickers they had laying around in their file cabinets.
  8. I understand tortillas are banned. What is the penalty for tossing them?
  9. 52-13 final. What happened in the second half? Did they just down it for 30 minutes?
  10. Don't mind if I do!
  11. Meh. You just need salt...lots and lots of salt.
  12. Oh come on. I'm sure Mandy got the memo and is drawing up a plan of action as we speak.
  13. There was this football nerd and he got invited to see North Texas play Middle Tennessee State, and he asked how the game was any different from the blue guys playing catch. There was this football nerd and he got invited to see North Texas play Middle Tennessee State, and he said, "aren't there supposed to be two teams on the field?
  14. Does Johnny Jones know anything about football? I see his players in class. They're in class every day, they're respectful, and on the court they perform under pressure to their strengths.
  15. Food, drinks, 8AM. Be there. Hmm... I could do omelets and bloody marys while we're waiting for the ribs......That should ease the pain of the imminent ass kicking.
  16. Every time he pulls that crap, my respect drops 50%. The raw incremental decreases are too small to measure now.
  17. Nah. I make it a policy never to smoke another man's wood. Seriously, I wouldn't mind taking a little bundle of that off your hands. I've not tried using full size mesquite logs in my smoker. I've only done the chunks. I have done hickory in my bigger bbq, and it did indeed burn a hellva lot hotter than charcoal. Just gotta' be patient with it and let it get down to embers.
  18. Those were football recruits? I saw them, and thought they might be track recruits.
  19. Sam Houston State had 8 votes in the latest Mid-Major polls.
  20. I didn't listen to the whole game, and I don't know the players names very well yet, so a bit hard to follow, but it sounds like UNT's got some good coaching going on...in basketball.
  21. Streak -- BROKEN
  22. Let forget for the moment people who buy the OU/UT stuff who have no connection to either school. What I wanna know is, if one isn't even going to Norman or Austin, then what the hell would one need an OU/UT tent for? Hey! Look at me! I went to DCCCD! I'm having a picnic in the city park! I've got my Longhorn tent up! That, without question, is the douchiest of douchery!
  23. My years in textbook sales sure as hell proved that theory to be true. The fed's thrown millions upon millions upon millions into the school system. See how much better it's gotten?
