They say full-time student is 12 hours, but most of us here would say that we usually did 15 hours per semester, right? So four bucks an hour times 15 hours time two semesters is about $120 increase, right? I'd challenge everyone on this board who supports this fee increase to increase their own annual alumni contributions to athletics by $120. It ain't that much more.

I have great memories of going to see games at Cal in the early 90s. I've never been in the stadium, but I've been in lots of other things Berkeley had to offer.

SMU missed it's big opportunity after not immediately poaching then 9-4 coach Dan McCarney after the 41-6 drubbing he gave to June Jones.

Todd Graham to SMU makes perfect sense to me. Chad Morris to anywhere upward doesn't. He's really not done anything at SMU that I find remarkable. As for SMU, they seem to fancy themselves a destination coaching position. Soooo...yeah....no.

I guess a bunch of middle schoolers get to play in a bowl game while a bunch of legit FBS college players get to sit home in San Anotonio and weep. So tragic. Such delicious tears.

TCU is losing to Oklahoma 41-17. They should shut it down and stay home.

We just shat the bed..again..against FAU. We also won 9 games and a division. We ran the table at home. Some are criticizing today that we barely squeaked by in several games. That's true. We squeaked by UAB, UTSA, and Army. In the past, we don't pull that off. We give up and take the loss, and sit home at maybe 5-7. There are no criminals on our roster and no show cause coaches on our staff. I'm proud of this team, and will always hold this season near and dear to my heart, even if we end up 9-5. We're trending up. I think it's going to continue to get even better. Go Mean Green!

I've taken my kid to East Side many times -- until she started to actually score goals against me in foosball. Then I cut her off. General rule of thumb at East Side and Oak Street is kids out by 9 p.m.

I did it from Baton Rouge this summer. Didn't intend to do it in a day, and was pretty hung over, but I got to Shreveport and meh'd the heck out of there and pushed onward to home.

Flights are running about $300 - $350 round trip on Southwest and American to NOLA flying in Friday, flying out Sunday. I think it's about a nine-hour drive each way. Life is full of difficult decisions.
