Came here to say this. I got stuck behind somebody fumbling through a change purse trying to purchase a pass for cash, and I don't even know if the attendant person had change. I ended up just driving around them and more or less ignoring the attendant. Then again, since the point of entry is about three feet wide, how would they have a cash lane and a pass lane? A word they like to use in Organizational Behavior in UNT's MBA program is "Valence." That is perceived value. My blue parking lot pass has lost some of its "valence." Then again, again, back in 2015 when I could've done 80mph donuts in the blue lot ten minutes before kickoff with no fear of hitting another vehicle, who'd've thunk we'd ever be discussing this issue?

The way this map works, if we lose to Arkansas, we pretty much get erased from the map for the rest of the year. It's been going on on reddit for a few seasons now, and it takes some getting used to.

That 51-yard kick, I felt myself doing the old man bowling shuffle, willing the damn thing to make the distance. It didn't have the distance authority of Trevor Moore's kicks, but dammit, the points still counted.

I noticed in the membership guide that my donor classification has dropped a category while giving the same amount of money. Wren is out for blood -- I mean cash, and he seems to be getting it. I've got one more year of stadium gifts, then my MGC contribution will go up slightly, but I'll be done with the monthly payments. I am still somewhat concerned that the MGC contributions will go up enough to price me out of my seats at some point in the not too far off future. Fortunately, if I mentally keep the stadium payment in my mentality, I think I've got a bit of wiggle room before things get too hairy.

My daughter texted me that she stayed for a bit of the wrestling. Let's just say that good ole' wrestling action doesn't translate to the younger generation. Having no knowledge or context of the whole spectacle, she was mightily taken aback by it. She ruh-heally didn't like some of the caricatures. I told her she has to imagine a time of three television stations and no internet, then I kinda laughed at her 21st century sensitivities.

I asked my daughter this weekend why she didn't go out for the Green Brigade. Hailing from the Lewisville HS marching band, one of the most BORING, but technically sound marching bands in the land, she responded that the Green Brigade doesn't take their technique seriously enough. Ouch, baby. Ouch.

So I'm really badly color blind. When you put certain combinations of colors next to each other, they...change. I look at the center of the field, I see green. I look at the end zone, I see green. I look at the end zone abutting up to the field, the field turns...get this...orange! This is why I don't need hallucinogenic drugs.

There was a point at some time during the game when my buddy and I looked across the club seating, and it was nearly completely full. The culture up there that has beaten me into submission is that you get the evil eye if you cheer above 10 decibels. I enjoyed the espresso machine and the brewed iced tea up there. Nice additional little touches. Not sure, but I think they brought the concession prices down a bit too.

I thought the ref mic wasn't working again. Then I re-watched the game online, and realized that I couldn't hear him because the crowd was so damn loud. Greatness!

I came to tailgate. Ate balls. It's not a UNT game without them.
