I'm not super happy about weeknight games at all, but this one will likely have a lot at stake. As mentioned above, the Thursday night game against Rice in 2013 was very well attended and yielded one of the greatest UNT moments in recent memory -- The Stand. Since it's in November, I'll probably take Friday off and a nice long nap on Thursday afternoon.

Does he stay or does he go? Either way, I am secure in that I no longer have to worry about: His replacement being a booze soaked dinosaur retread. His replacement being an arrogant know absolutely nothing high school coach. A university president who refuses to pay a football coach more than the president because something something white male patriarchy. I fear that the replacement, should it be necessary, may or may not be the right choice, but at least I know there are resources and open avenues to find and go after somebody with some skillz.

As a relative newcomer, I saw The Stand, the HOD win, and The Drive live, and Peter Pan on TV. I'm gonna add getting June Jones run out of town as one of my favorite moments. I don't think I've ever watched an opposing coach press conference that made it so difficult to dislike. He went out of his way to compliment our players, staff, school, over and over again. Hope we beat him by four touchdowns.
