I saw this kid play against Lewisville this year. His highlight reel from that game is only nine seconds long. Mostly because this kid Dontae McGee was running right through him all night. Dontae McGee He's a senior, but I'm not savvy enough on the recruiting front to know if he's got any offers anywhere.

This makes the area on 35E just north of the Lewisville Lake Bridge lots of fun. You've got Lake Dallas, Corinth, Hickory Creek, and State Troopers all monitoring about a four-mile stretch of road. Before construction began, I became very well acquainted with the bend they'd park behind waiting for speeders. Even if taking the greatest of care to follow all traffic laws, it's one of the most nerve wracking stretches of road for me to drive on.

Overall, it really is good for them. I hope that artist rendering for football is just super preliminary and they do something better with it. Gonna be tough since Turner Field is structurally built for baseball.

Georgia State was the winning bid to purchase Turner Field and surrounding area. They're going to convert Turner Field to a football stadium, build a baseball stadium on the site of the old Fulton County Stadium, and put student housing and whatnot in. A friend who saw it before me told me to go in with the mindset that at its heart, it's a kid's movie. Don't go in expecting Lawrence of Arabia. So with proper mindset in place, I went, and I enjoyed the hell out of it. It was just a fun movie. Now if I were one of the unique individuals that reads Wookieepedia every night before going to bed, I might be disappointed, but I'm not one of those unique individuals.

Just now I got an email soliciting season ticket renewal for the 2016 season. Thing is, it doesn't make renewal of MY seats available. It's selling me seats in the lower bowl. Not worried about it or anything, but it does seem odd that the system wouldn't recognize that I've got static seats every year.
