I've never seen more fans of a football program be content with winning 1-3 games every season. No wonder this is such a weak program. So many fans are fine with the product on the field.

I don't like anyone to be fired, but I think we're at that point where a head coaching change is severely needed. Let's start a new era for the new stadium.

I know it's not a big deal, but I just thought it was interesting. In SI's section where they say "Who's Hot" and "Who's Not," Western Kentucky was one of the 4 examples of "Who's Not." The summary said "The Division 1-A newbies had their best chance for a win last Saturday, against 1-6 North Texas. But the Mean Green tied a school record for points in a 68-49 win. 'We made mistakes,' said coach David Elson, following the Hilltoppers' 16th straight loss." I also didn't realize that UNT's 68 points tied the school record.

We will blow out WKU, saving TD's job. He should be gone at the end of the season regardless of Saturday's result.

I saw Shorter play a few times when he was in JUCO, and guards had fits trying to guard him because of his thickness. Dude is a brawler.

I stand by my statement that Dodge should promote an open tryout for kicker. Out of so many thousands of students, there has to be someone on-campus that can kick a field goal.

Wins should be pretty easy to come by in this conference, especially considering we have superior talent at most positions.

I will be absolutely shocked if he actually signs to play at UNT.

Bama would sacrifice Iowa. Iowa is also notorious for playing horribly against weak opponents. Don't forget that they had to block two field goals in the waning seconds to sneak past some FCS school in the season opener. Judging our team and coaching staff for the result of the Bama game is ridiculous. Anyone that thinks if the coaching staff had called a better game that it would have been close is out of their mind. We didn't have a chance to compete in Tuscaloosa. Our Sun Belt home opener is what the team should be catching crap about.

Middle Tennessee is not some kind of juggernaut, to put it nicely. In the national scheme of things, they're a mediocre team, and they led us by 23 at halftime. Ridiculous.

I think Boise could have their way with the other non-BCS powers. That team is filthy.

I sure as hell wouldn't have taken a 1-3 start "with enthusiasm." Our team is better than last year, but that is saying very little. A 30-7 halftime deficit at home to a team like Middle Tennessee is inexcusable.
