I haven't had the chance to see Guyer play yet this year but their game against the Colony was televised last night and Walsh sure put on a show in the first half.

How about the shoe-less run? I will always remember that play because I was sitting in the student section where we were all wondering what had happened. And that's when we saw someone giving him the shoe.

J-Mo is currently sitting in a back yard in Lake Dallas. I named my black lab J-Mo. I love it when people in the neighborhood ask what his name means and I get to explain to them the story of the magical 2004 season.

Well, next week I'll say "North" and I'll have the guy next to me say "Texas." We'll do that the whole game and see if it works.

I do enjoy the North... Texas... chant maybe twice a game at appropriate times. It's very cool when it's loud and everyone's participating. But wouldn't everyone agree that it loses it's luster when it's done too many times and not everyone's into it? I thought Saturday the cheer leaders did a great job of only leading that cheer once and trying to make it most effective. But I couldn't understand why some small groups of people would yell "NORTH" and then another small group would yell "TEXAS," being only one row away from them. That sounds to me like lame Archie Griffin at a Heisman Trophy presentation yelling at Bradford until he responded with "SOONER."

not that i'm lowering my expectations but have you already forgotten how miserable last year was? only twice did we actually look like we belonged on the same field as our opponent. we are one dropped pass (us) or one great throw (them) away from being 2-0. it feels good to be upset because we could've won instead of being upset because we're so far away. if our defense plays this well all year we will win a few more games.

to those who recorded and re-watched the game on tune's pick six should jackson (i believe that's who it was intended for) have cut in front of the db? initially, from the student side, i felt the wr could've cut harder towards the ball.
