I can't seem to find the past all sun belt teams but would Hall be on any of them? I think to be in the HOF you probably should've been thought of as the best at your position in the conference, right? Booger/PC both were that.

At the GMG Bowl? I figured I'd combine the two subjects you guys enjoy talking about the most; percieved ability/speed and the gmg bowl.

Hall was great at what he did... the play-action roll out. He was a winner, yes. But HOF worthy? I think it's an indication of where our prgram is right now with the mention of him being an all-time great.

I'll believe it when I see it. Let's hope I believe it.

I did forget about the car. Thanks for reminding me of that joke. In all seriousness though, the 2011 home opener is going to no doubt be a showcase for what this program can eventually be. We will have so many more fans at that game than will normally come. So lets scrap the junior high stuff we've been known to partake in and make that opener really feel like a college game.

Good point. We have a great tradition of... lets see... screaming 'North... Texas' at random times until it finally just dies off. Firing an annoying cannon (even after a loss). Oh, and we've stolen traditions from other schools by making up stories of how we 'earned' them somehow. You're right, we just need to recognize the great traditions already in place.

I agree. Lets first worry about getting more than 10k people to come watch the games in November.

How did so many Kstate fans end up in our 'North Texas' section? I had to sit near a row of purple making comments about our lack of size and the, apparent to them, ref bias for the 'small school.'

Half the people on here are saying the $68 is for rounds 1 and 2. The other half say it's for the two games Thursday afternoon.

The $68 ticket I just requested will get me into the 11:20 BYU/Florida game as well as the 1:40 UNT/Kstate game? Trying to plan out my trip. Any word on whether or not we've sold out our allotment yet?

I agree, no one wants to feel crammed in there. But I'd argue that it's better to fill out a smaller room than to have an empty feeling large one. I don't mind standing for the entire show and then eating afterwards. I'd prefer that to having an empty room with plenty of seating.

And to those who made the trip to Hot Springs. Using your vacation days on the Mean Green is dedication.
