Thankfully the decision isn't mine. So I can just sit back and enjoy what we're now seeing on the field. Why don't we all just relax and enjoy this? It's been awhile.

1. I like many of the names mentioned but would rather hire someone with HC experience. 2. I had already planned on doubling my contributions once our stadium opened and still plan on doing that.

I like Canales, I don't want to come across as being anti-Canales. But there should be no points given for wanting this job. Name another HC position Canales will be offered this season. Of course he wants this job, it's his only opportunity to become a HC.

So you'd be fine hiring someone who's only head coaching experience was a 2-3 record with wins over WKU and ULM because he at least fired up our players? I love what Canales has done with this thing so far but let it be said I loved what Dodge did here off the field. There comes a point when you have to win games. This is an important hire that we have to get right. I don't think anyone would approve of hiring Canales without a win this weekend.

Ok, I thought about the Kstate game but didn't RV suggest he hopes to have decided on someone by then?

I love the pourhouse atmosphere but have never enjoyed the food. What do you guys order that's good?

If we lose this weekend does everyone not agree that Canales for coach can be laid to rest? I felt that wins over WKU and ULM were must wins and Canales needed a win over Troy or Muts to also add to his resume to be considered.

Do we even need to be wowed at halftime? Most of us use that time to stretch our legs and visit the restroom anyway. I'd settle for just firing me up during the game.

Can you rephrase the question?

I'm waiting for the next anonymous poster to find an interesting name out there we haven't thought of who may slightly make sense and suggest he's a top candidate. And then watch as we all go crazy arguing with each other over his qualifications or lack there of. I guess it's better than wondering if Dodge will get a pass because of the injuries.

If you do actually have some 'inside scoop' what's the harm in mentioning the potential cadidate if we've all over looked him? I understand not revealing your source of information but I don't see why you would hide the name the way you do. If you have solid info, congrats I guess. But I remember playing games in elementary school of 'I've got a secret and I'm not telling you.' And if you have no real info, job well done sir. You've got me by my gonads.

It's quite obvious PMG's goal is to draw everyone offsides and has apparently succeeded in that. It's clear he's playing a game.

This is a good question. If RV really wants someone hired before the end of the season it would seem to me that Canales must win the next 3 games. And if he wins the next 3 games, I'd be all for waiting another week to see what he does against Kstate. But guys, lets realize that all the Canales for coach talk could be put to rest tomorrow. Or... it could be magified.

Can we get a word count on PMG's contribution to this thread alone?

I'd take him here. Players stealing laptops... coaches punching players... it's all about the wins, right?
