good post. coach Chinco should really lay off the Riley play package in my opinion. I'm truly sad this morning...but next week is a winnable game too.

I think it's possible. Even if he does some Patrick Cobbs roles on special teams and certain packages, he should play at the next level.

Tune did a good job. He is our quarterback, we have to support him. Thompson will be awesome in the future for us. It's good to know that we will be in good shape in the future but we do have to stand behind Nathan.

damn straight! We had our mistakes but overall, I'm very pleased with our team this year. Tune hung in there and played well. Lance is a ninja. Who's number 10 on defense?...needs to work on tackling. But overall, great game played and I look forward to Rice!!

I thought the show was good. I can't wait for Saturday. From what TD described and from reading blogs, articles, etc., this team has a different attitude. they are eager to win. they don't seem like they will settle to hang close in a game and hope for a lucky break. it seems they want to dominate from the first snap. hopefully this attitude will translate. I've already started icing down the beverages for Saturday...can't freakin wait!!

Great job Brett and staff. I look forward to this piece every year...more than the Dave Campbell magazine. I really enjoyed the pieces on the memories of Fouts and the stories from the old days. Nice work.

It was a lot of fun. My wife and I both ran and checked out most of the scrimmage. It was my first 5k running barefoot which was fine until we got to campus and the pebble stone sidewalks. Those hurt a little but overall it was really cool to run barefoot.

it gets easier when you and your wife switch from a man to man coverage to a zone defense. Just watch the perimeter and make sure no one escapes and you will be fine

6 is due May 5. We are very blessed and doing our part to fill the stands at football and basketball games.

I wish him well and if he was wavering, then I'm glad that he made the move. It's better for him and for us. If his heart was not fully committed to UNT then he would always be wondering what could have happened somewhere else. Bitterness could build fast if things are not going as planned...funny, that sounds familiar...

kudos to Flyer for being the Pit Crew tonight. Obviously the student section was bare due to finals being over. I had a chance to sit next to Dr. B tonight...nice lady and she was into the game. Good win for the Mean Green. They looked solid and it was a nice bounce back from FIU.

you don't think Josh White is a good point guard? In my opinion, he's lights out better than Dominique and I think Dominique is really good.

I just listened to the halftime show with George speaking with RV...I have to say that I'm excited for next year. I'm also excited that the decision has been made and now we can move on. Hopefully Dodge will pull it together...I truly hope so...those players need to feel what winning is like. I wish him and his staff the best of luck in recruiting and for success next season! See you at Fouts for one last go around!!! Now, let's put this football passion into Johnny Jones and his team. Can't wait for the next home game!!!

I agree that the players may not have been put in the best position to be successful. I realize that most people posting on this site are indeed fans. I just don't understand the bashing from some...it sometimes comes across as if they are not fans at all.
