my summer project for tailgating

For this season, I decided to build my own Cornhole boards to add to the tailgaiting activities. It was a fun project to work on with my boys during the evenings when it wasn't 105 degrees. I actually scored the logos from the athletic department when I told them what I was planning to do. Another friend of mine has a sticker machine and made the stencils so I could paint on the logos. I went a little over the top with some green LED hole lights. I am now working on building and painting some 'can stands' for each board to hold some beverages...

Inside the Mean Green August 7th Edition

awesome. thanks for posting. please keep them coming. -
This is depressing. I was not at this game...(in the 5th grade at the time) but I feel like I just watched the last 6 years (prior to Mac) of UNT football. We have been in so many games until the very end only to lose. I am looking forward to seeing that change

I'm feeling that tons of players will end up leaving...especially the non-starters. I think it will be similar to SMU where basically a generation will need to be the gap between top players wanting to play football at Penn State again. There will certanily be those players, like the SMU ones after the death penalty, that will want the chance to play D-1 football for a major market program. But from a success and player recruitment stand-point, I bet it will take kids that are born after 2010 to be the next top recruiting class.

Thank you!

what is the official shade of green that we use? I'm making Cornhole boards for tailgating this year and need to get them painted.

Good for him. I hope he does well. He's a good dude.

we scored tickets on the floor behind the 'table seats' from work. I could not believe how huge Tony Mitchell is and that he's like 19. It was so loud at the end. What a great game and I'm proud that the team kept fighting. It was amazing how good all the Denver guys are at shooting the 3's. It was also nice to see how well our team adjusted to that for the 2nd half. That's good coaching.

Breaking news -- Chris Jones, Jordan Williams ineligible
Travis Scott replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Basketball
I see your point to some degree. My wife used to be a tutor at the athletic center and helped kids like Riley, Harold Stewart, Craig Robertson, etc... she's wicked smart and qualified, like the rest of the tutors there. Her biggest challenges working with SOME of the student athletes was them not attending class or unwrapping the text books (if new), much less reading them. The players have all the resouces they need to be successful. They just don't have other people taking their tests or attending class on their behalf...which I guess these players needed. -

This! +1,000 I'm sure the basic Freshman classes weren't too difficult (assuming here since mine, back in the day, were basically the same as my Junior and Senior year of High School). The coaches, RV, or the staff at the athletic academic center cannot go to class for the players. It's the players' job and they didn't make it. I truly hope sitting out will help them get focused for a bright future with this program and later in life. -
Thanks

Can someone post what he says...at the game and I forgot to record

Yes, I noticed a dude like that. This was my 2nd woman's game so I wasn't sure if he was a regular to just woman's games. He was at the opposite side from me so he was drowned out by the WKU mom who made my ears bleed
