I am optimistic!

This thing has to pass. I am sure the atheletes and cheerleaders - even scrappy! had their friends vote too...plus I think during the campaign we saw more positive posts "for" rather than "against". There were 319 people "against" and 2-3 people were arguing to vote for the stadium on that page. I think our group showed a good pulse on the NT daily, Facebook, and GMG.com. Lets keep our fingers crossed!

that is why we have not heard anything. OR the fact this is a really big deal and important they are truly trying to stick to the rules. I am being optimistic!

Now it is up to 2024. i hope all these people voted yes or pushed friends to vote yes.

You know what? Austin has a very artsy feel while carrying athletics. The #1 FB team with a very liberal scene - it works there in Austin- it will work in Denton.

Can a student create a you tube video on the based on the facts to vote yes ?and post it? - to facebook? or is that illegal?

Thought this was an interesting comment and point I read off a comment from the NT Daily: I graduated from Irvine some 14 years ago. I am in touch with two...count 'em...two classmates now. I still get to baseball games when I can, but I don't know anyone at the games. I'm not involved with any aspect of the university whatsoever. Irvine is the poster child for commuter schools with an apathetic student body. If this is what the anti-stadium crowd aspires to be, then I cannot be angry at them. I cannot loathe them. I can only pity them and the isolated experiences they'll have in adulthood. this person hit the nail on the head....
