You know they need to really bring this bonfire/ homecoming event to the forefront. I see so many schools with cool t-shirt designs and stuff for their events. I have never seen that with UNT. We have talenetd students, they should have a competition or something...

I agree - and was thinking they need to create a better name for it and tie it to Homecoming Day. Kids could hang out at the local hot spots after. It could be alot of fun...

Fun Run 8:00 a.m. Contact (940) 565-2275. I called about this and it is 2.5 miles and they said that UNT students and members of the rec center can run. Can Alumni participate? They should allow us - they also could make a couple of dollars during homecoming by charging a 20.00 fee or something...

All I know is that I really-really hope they keep the water front and it looks close to what is in the promotional video - and I hope UNT has many other great surprises up their sleeves!!

I personally don't think there is a comparison with Texas State and UTSA. I believe we are better than both schools. (Just my opinion though) Hopefully, if the school grows in the direction anticipated and we have a great communication plan...we can market ourselves away from those schools.

I have know idea if this would work, but Facebook and LinkedIn both have UNT Alumni sites. Could we post information about the new stadium? maybe a paypal account on the UNT Alumni Facebook site?

Did they sign agreements not to dislcose any info? 2002 (6 years ago) maybe alot has changed as far as policy...this could get alot of media attention if it passes.
