He isn't much of a writer - besides, if he was, he might be asking some of the tough questions we seem to ask......go to any big college town and you will find that the sports writers always seem to get to the bottom of things - but not the DRC. Ever notice how players around here just "leave" the team and none of the writers at the DRC ever quesiton it - well at the big schools they do. He is just showing us with his words, just how bad of a writer he is in my opinion.

Isn't this game a home game for us? I don't have a schedule or my tickets in front of me, but I was think we were playing here.

After watching FSU, Miami, and OU play thier first games with new QB's, I am thankful that we have some quality running backs in our backfield. This game could end up being a huge game by virtue of the fact that we have a new one and have not played a game as of yet. I think we will end up winning, because I don't think there is anyone in the SBC that can stop our RB's.

I highly doubt that the Superdome will be able to be used to any effeciency without a serious amount of monies to do the repair, and at this point, with its age, the saits would probably just go ahead and fund a new stadium. Just my guess

I am about ready to give up on JJ too, but each time I think that, I remind myself that I gave up on dd when he was 0-5 in his third season, and now look where we are in football.....say it's different all you want, but frankly, it is the same thing.

WAIT - the opposing team actually sent a band for their basketball game? It is just too bad that UNT can't have a better showing since this tourney is in Denton. Johnny Jones though can't seem to coach his way out of a paper bag when he needs to.

I know EXACTLY what you are preaching in regaurds to tickets, I have said the same thing for years....why in the world do they move a men's game to TWU?

Boy, I completely missed this one....I kind of like playing a soft non-conf. schedule as it gives us a good chance to jell as a team before conf. starts.

I think the addition of Jones as our coach, and all of the success of our football team, are key factors that are leading to the bball team's success. This team lost to a good Alabama team last night on the road, but only lost by 14 and really was in the game in the second half before bama made a run. Not sure if this team will get to the tourney this year or not, but may just make the NIT.

What is really funny is that EVERYONE will be complaining once we get back to the NO Bowl and have to play another OOC game......I give DD his props in winning the conference each year.....I still think we should find someone else to take us to the next level, but I will give him his credit.

That was pure STUPIDness on our part if that is true.

We were NEVER offered to go to the WAC, so I am not sure how it was "not good enough" for us.

Well Boise State has no baseball team, and their bball team is not much better than ours.

You know, Zook probably wouldn't come here or Neuhausal for that matter, but the point is that unless we make some changes, this team will never move on...we will just keep winning the Belt in most years and continue to lose OOC games. Does it not hack you guys off that everytime these confereces expand, UNT is always left out? Does it not hack you guys off that teams like Boise St, UTEP and TCU are better than us? I appreciate what DD has done. He was a great coach to bring us to where we are now, but it time to move on if we expect to move up. Besides, I am not a huge fan of the way DD treats our university.

I don't understand why people keep bringing this up either....Zook or Neuhausal could take this team to the next level, but I say let's just keep DD around, build a new stadium, keep winning the Sun Belt (all the while teams keep coming in and moving up passing us by) and just be happy winning the Sun Belt. Nobody really respects us in the football world anyways, so let's just stay and be happy.

Can't believe Vince Young is the best talent they have at the QB position....he is horribly overrated.
