Amazing how that works isn't it. What amazes me is how Dickey keeps getting away with it.

I am not a statics guy by any stretch, but I would be curious to know if in fact, this team is getting better statics wise since the first game. Dickey seems to think they are, so I wonder what the numbers tell us. Would also be curious to know how many freshman and sophmores that are playing this year in comparison to the last couple of years, and then also the number of seniors we have that play this year in relation to the last few years. I am so tired of hearing about how we are so young.

No wonder people on this board don't want us to go into the WAC - when a middle of the conference team destroys us like they did today. Someone on here stated that the WAC was no better than the Sun Belt.....

Once again, if enough of us would email RV and call the athletic department and demand more so that these type of "technical" problems, they might stop happening. You would you think KNTU, a school that prides itself on its Radio and Film Department, could figure out this problem and eliminate it.

I am suprised we have won that many OOC games since he has been here.

Actually I am not sure what they would do. I talked with a friend of mine who lives in Ruston and he understands that La Tech is wearing throw back uni's and that is why ask if we were.

He should be able to tear off at least 100 against a porous Louisiana Tech run defense that’s allowing 214 yards per game, but ... Why Louisiana Tech might win: … North Texas doesn’t score. It’s one thing to only score seven on Kansas State and ten on the occasionally strong Troy defense, but the Mean Green hasn’t scored more than two touchdowns in a game this year scoring a grand total of 46 points. After getting stuffed for three points by Florida and 14 by Kansas, Louisiana Tech has averaged 35.7 points per game. I actually think that Meager is better than Bomar at this point. I have watched Bomar and he can't seem to hit the side of a barn. Maybe if you put him against Sun Belt teams he might do better, but he was so bad against Tulsa, the coaching staff didn't let him attempt one single pass in the second half. As for the audibles, coach Dickey's offense actually has audibles?

Make no mistake, Mike Price is a great coach....he got the wrong end of the shaft at Alabama, and it won't too long until he has another big school calling. Two other factors add to their game selling out though: One is El Paso is considerably bigger than Denton, and according to my brother who is in Med School out there, that town is in the middle of nowhere.

Hopefully that LSU game is in the wee early morning hours of Sunday so that we might be able to sweep our score of it under the radar for it is going to be UGLY.

Where we rank in penalties in the Belt really makes me laugh now at that article by the Shreveport paper where Dickey says he is concerned that his team is penalized twice as much as the other teams in the league.

I might be laughing for days at that article....thanks for bringing that to our attention. I guess ol' Dickey can't control those players of his, so he will just follow in the footsteps of Tom Penders and blame the officials for all of the penalties his teams get. So I guess we are to assume that the league officials have been against him since he came here? We gotta keep Dickey if for nothing else, but to give us some comic relief.

If running the option gives our Defense more rest and us more offense, I am all for it.... However, if we had a dollar for all of the times we heard DD claim that the QB would be used more or would be opening up the offense more, we would be millionaires.

The weekly press conference is probably restricted because they are so embarrassed by it. You have to pay 10 bucs for that a month? That is highway robbery there.

I vote the entire Defense....without them, we probably don't have a win this year.

Well now that TJ's or JT's (I could never remember which way it went) has closed that would be a great idea.....that was my favorite place to watch the eagles when they were on TV.

Don't hold your breath on a Mean Green win this weekend. Has anyone heard about us wearing throw back uni's this week in LA? If so, will our helmets have the stylus eagle on them with that old style green?

I checked the line today on the game and bout fell out of my chair....they have La Tech favored by 19!
