Me too. But it is not going to happen. RF may leave, but DD is not going anywhere, or rather he is not headed to KSU. He has had one offer in the last four years and that was Idaho.

Like I said before, keep these things coming. I love reading your posts, for they make me laugh. However, I am not sure there were that many people in the stands for that one. All I could hear on the radio was George and Hank....I couldn't hear anything that resembled a crowd of even 3. What a great game it was though, especially that great offensively called first half - WOW - RF will be courted by all of the major universities after that one. Also, still trying to figure out what the heck DD was referring to when he mentioned that they were "under very difficult circumstance". Was it the fact that we were playing at a neutral stadium? Or was it that they were 1-8? Oh wait, maybe it was that they were playing a backup that hadn't played all season? No wait, it probably had somthing to do with our youth (even though we have 14 starters that are either Jr. or Sr's)?

That Kedrick Davis was a pretty good player off the bench for the Hogs a couple of years ago, and is a fun player to watch so he should add some really good play for the team.

Every year, and I mean every year, DD says at some point during the season "he would like to see us pass more" and every year we sit around and wonder when.

Okay, we are a bad football team, but there is NO reason why this team should be an underdog to a team with only 1 win.

In response to the Vito reference - he is simply the beat writer for the DRC. He is just going to report facts and nothing else. I may have this mixed up to the way he was brought up in to this topic, but I was a little down on him a couple of months ago until I realized that he was simply the "Beat" writer and not more of along the lines of a "comumnist'. Don't know if that helps any. Great guy though, you should email him questions, he is really good at responses. Actually he and Guss are pretty good in that area.

When a play like that works, just stand up and applaud, but don't try and figure out any plays or frankly anything this coaching staff does, as it will do nothing but frustrate you in the long run. I still can't figure out why we just let them run the clock down once they couldn't get a first down late in the 4th...

Nothing that DD does anymore suprises me with anything: time management, play calling, discipline...he just is not that good of a coach. I am starting to believe though that he and Houston Nutt are related, because they do about the same amount of stupid stuff game in and game out.

I am sure that DD will take just as much displinary action against Flannigan as he does his players when they get Unsportsman like and stupid penalties.... oh wait....

Great post and explanation Rick. My dad and I are sitting two sections over and next to your section wondering why the heck we have come to the point of causing such a comotion over a tortilla. Its just really sad, that for so long, this University has tried over 3 decades to get people to come out to the games and have fun, and just about every time the fans do things to do that, the University wants to squelsh the idea. Whats funny is that TT throws tons of more Tortilla's then we do with 40000 people, and they don't seem to have the problems with them that we do - why is that I wonder? I wonder if all of us season ticket holders decided to flood the emails of RV with these questions, that they would address them with more consideration?

no its not it all - its just a person that loves a great, big time college football game.
