Well Dickey sent his message to boosters, admin, RV and the fans.... Black Jerseys is the future of NT football, resembling death to the program after his untimely dissmissal...He and others think that RV will get a random person in here to run the program and bury it even furthur in the ground. Pretty freaky, when I heard about the black jerseys....From the UNT website, They looked like the prison team from necessary roughness. Couldnt make the game, was out of town. First game I missed in years.... Watch the black jersey story develop into a Fox News Alert in 3, 2, 1,..... We are just now getting intial reports from Denton, Texas that outgoing NT football coach Darrell Dickey has.....

This firing has attracted alot of bad press....im suprised... I wonder if there was anyway we could have left Diceky on board as some sort of asst coach...I always heard he loved to Mean Green and wanted to be here for a long time... We need a corporate sponsor for our stadium, since nothing is happening with funding...Something like Peterbuilt Stadium at Hayden Fry Field.....I dont know

Actually I think Dodge is a good HS coach, and that is about it...Thats all he is successful in.... What has Dodge recruited since he's been at SLC....having snobby kids in your own school district is not called recruiting..... I want a Mike Price type hire....Maybe Price is tired of UTEP already....

Actually you brought up a great point... You cant get a well-rounded college football coach here at NT wihtout paying them $1 million a year....Like Matress Mac said Dickey salary was a bargain compared to other D-1A coaches in other mid-major programs like ours... We might have gotten Btuch Davis since he loves the Dallas area and has a histroy...a really great guy all around and has great success where ever he goes.. I mean if you are going to fire Dickey and have what we have since we fired him "Backlash of awful PR" Then we need to think big....can anyone think of any great coaches out there who might want to come back to coaching and isnt doing much lately... Butch Davis would have been a great pick, cant believe we didnt go after him.... probably still sorting through all of the 2,3, and 4A coaching interests... Butch Davis was great when he was an Asst Cowboy coach, I hope he replaces Bill Parcells in the very near future...

Anything is possible, from what I used to hear from my father he said that in the old days people used the DRC whenever they ran out of toilet paper....Dont really see that changing much from the old days.

That is soooo true of the people pulling the strings....I think we all know who he is talking about in this regard...RV The same AD who tried numerous times to bail out of NT at any other opportunity that has risen up since he's been here. NMSU and ULL to name a few places where he applied for the same job he has here at NT, then have him squirm his way onto the board to deny he did this, after he got turned down by both both organizations It's pretty easy to see why he was turned down as he failed miserably at his first duty of business here at NT::::: FUNDRAISING.... Well he's doing an even better job now as he lost us our biggest donor ever at NT.

if DD wins out the rest of the games this season...this situation will get worst... I mean DD will win out to prove something, if FAU is one of those wins then it might grab some attention
