  1. I have a hunch that we might hear some big news the night of the banquet. Several reasons. The big donors were honored days before the banquet date Dodge has been getting some high profile recruits Looks like he carrying around the stadium plans with him to recruits The banquet is the biggest event in the football offseason where it would make sense to release this information It feels has if specific people were made aware of the new stadium plans, and some donors have been silent I also received a PM from a GMG member who said he knows of a donor that has been talking with RV recently and that he was VERY IMPRESSED by what he saw in the stadium plan presented to him. He said that the donor was told by RV and staff that the stadium was apparently moving at a ASAP stage and things were ready to take off I known we keep hearing that Big News about the stadium was coming in the Spring, but it might really be just around the corner. Also several recruits have talk about the new stadium and one of them leaked that it would be completed in 2009. If we were to break ground this spring, Would it be possible to open a 45,000 seat stadium in August 2009 For the naysayers if anyone would like to receive a copy of the message I received, PM me and I'll forward it to you or might just post it on the board, if their are alot of people intersted. GO MEAN GREEN
  2. Fouts hasnt changed that much since the 50's and 60's... Great idea though Plumm
  3. Oh my god.....I need to catch my breath.....ugh!!! ugh!!!! yes!!!!
  4. woo-hoo man keep it coming
  5. Da Bears all the way, at least I hope so, I really see this game going either way. Just like the Dallas-Seattle game. Also...these factors need to be considered/// Turnovers, Colts rising confidence, and the Bears confidence now on offense. Bears 27 Colts 20
  6. Dude you live in Arkansas, you should be keeping a scoreboard as to how much more pathetic your miserable life is....
  7. Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson are closer now than they were before their ridculous spat, they have become friends again and he might, just might have his old football buddy take over the ranks at Valley Ranch. He is the only one who can do the job, loves the Cowboys, and he is from Texas, Port Arthur to be exact. The Cowboys have gone downhill ever since Johnson left Dallas after Super Bowl 28 in Atlanta. Also Barry Switzer didnt accomplish anything except ride the coattails of Jimmy Johnson's success in Dallas. Plain and Simple. Bob Stoops, Norv Turner, Wade Phillips, please these guys have never coached probal or ever been successful in it. How many chances did Phillips and Turner have in the NFL, Turner is a good OC and thats it, and a good guy. My birthday is coming up really soon, please Jerry make the right move, you have already tried all of the other bad choices, i.e. Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, good lord!!!! Ive been dreaming of this for the longest time, make all of the DFW area happy and do the right thing. The perfect fit for the DALLAS COWBOYS-----JIMMY JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. There is an easier way to avoid certain posters, its called ignoring them and not reading their posts and also not replying to their posts. Its that easy....
  9. I was wondering if anyone knew if Caris had posted a message on GMG.com to thank all of us for our overwhleming support for her to win the Athlonsports.com magazine photo session and awards given to the cheerleading department. I remember someone posted that she was fully aware of all that GMG has done in the voting process and that she would post a message to thank us if she won or loss. Considering that GMG was responsbile for, I dont know 97% of her votes, I surely hope that she posted a message on the board, or even one from a representative from the cheerleading dept would have been nice. I was happy to see her win and I was among many who voted constantly for her to win. Just curious to see if anyone knows anything....
  10. more and more make the easy decision to join the mean green
  11. IT was a great game, very glad to see the Bears and Colts play in a Super Bowl against one another.... .............Da Bears all the way....................
  12. Pathetic at best....
  13. Knowing the UNT admin, they will continue having football games at Fouts, even if the service road is only a couple of feet away from the concession stands. A new stadium is long overdue and the TxDot expansion of 35 is even more overdue..... These type of things only happen in Denton.... I used to live off of Highway 380 and TxDot said that the expansion of Highway 380 into Denton, was going to start in the mid-70's...... In early 2006, TxDot officially announced that half of the project was completed and that the other half was to start in a few years....hmmm.... A few years, kinda like our new stadium
  14. Yummy's very good...It been in town for a while and is very tasty... Katz's Hamburgers are the best burgers in town. Best resturant- Olive Garden

  17. How about doing an increase to fund our stadium....now that is equality at its best.
  18. Well I am very confident that the whole stadium plans we have been hearing so much about is truly a HOAX The person I hold accountable- Rick Villareal.
  19. In my opinon he was the worst football coach at UNT....I was in Denton, while he was here.... He did an awful job.
  20. We really need to do a better job in ordering the T-shirts that for sure... We need to order jerseys with numbers on them and then our names on the back... Not the expensive kinds but something reasonable, Im down for it.....
  21. We had some multiple votes to be in the AP Top 25 and USA poll back a few years ago.
