You need the stadium to be at LEAST 40K. Damn attendance for the baylor game was at 30K. It wont cost much more to put in 5-10K seats. Do it right....The stadium needs to be at least 40K and at most 50K. Dont imitate SMU, you guys have alot of space to build and actually more potential than the Mustangs

Good assessment, Lifer... actually it would distrubing at best if their $1.5 mil donation went to some consulting group. UNT has spent ALOT of TIME and money looking into this. New conference possibities I-35 expansion Decrypted conditions at Fouts Inability to host better oponents All of these are legitimate reasons that REQUIRE us to build our new stadium This has been on RV's table for quite sometime, whatever the reason. Something is on the table but it is being closley guarded and kept from the public.

Those are great ideas that should have been thought up of by the AD.

This story piece was just a repeat of what was released by the Athletic Dept during the thanksgiving break, I know the DRC has a bunch of buffons in the Sports Dept but rewriting an already published story....Thats a new low.... Besides I dont get it, Stadium on the way, what new information is there in that article to back that up...dates? maybe

The city of Denton cant even fix their own potholes, develop a business park which is badly needed in the town and also fix numerous of other project throughout the years. The PROVEN idiots who run "The city of Denton" are too busy coming up with stupid ideas like building a water park which has lost over $100,000 since it was built in 2003. Also alot of their money is going to the legal defense about inquiries of misconduct in the utilities dept, who's employees were caught using taxpayers money to go to Hooters and a Larry the Cable guy event. Not very smart at all. If it wasnt for UNT and TWU, Denton wouldnt even be on the map.

THE MAIN THING IS " WHEN THEY BREAK GROUND " UNT is very good at finishing projects once the dirt turns. Look at Victory Hall, the AC, and especially the new Health Center, damn that was quick. There is also 3 new dorms going up and plans for a new dorm behind Maple Hall, and hopefully finally a new business bldg

Absoutely you dont want rising costs in the future and further delays. you build what you want at the beginning. Expansion now a days cost more than the original stadium. 45 to 50K anything less is unacceptable it will no way no how be a 30k stadium, that is what we have now. if thats the case whats the point in building.

Actually I posted it sometime last year. The reason I posted it in the first place was so that some information would be released, because it was long overdue since that awful video presentation in 2004. Some positive news about the stadium haspopped up, RV cant hold it in for that much longer. Im just worried the stadium ground breaking wont be till 2009 and the new opening date would in 2012 against or new conference rival Texas State
