No No I never thought of it as a put down of Denton....not at all.... It was a story about Riley Dodge having a bad experience in Denton when he was little. He said he would tell to someone in private casue it was embarrassing to Riley, from what I remember... It would be interesting to find out especially since he might be coming to Denton.

Hey for you guys who went to the conference and actually had the privilege of talking to Better in North Texas Todd Dodge. Did you guys remember Dodge saying their was a secret story about what Riley Dodge, when he was younger really thinks about Denton and that some might find it funny, he never elaborated but said that if somene asked him privately he would tell it to that person.... Wonder if anyone took him up on his offer, and maybe they could share it on the board....I personally think Dodge's son doesnt have a favorable impression of Denton and that he most likely wont come abroad with the Mean Green...... Also dont forget to go to the bball game, last saturday game, lets get the team pumped for the big tourney coming up all.

Unfortunately Wade Phillips will not win any playoff games..... As he is 0-3 in the postseason..... There are so many great up and coming coaches around, why settle for the worst coach on his long list of potential coaches. He has gotten fired at every Head Coaching job he has taken and has always done miserably in the end. The cowboys defiantely dont need this as they continue to suffer December woes. I am ashamed Wade Phillips is the new Cowboys coach.

Havent been this excited since my girl Norah Jones took home 8. Damn those Dallas girls, im telling you.... A big thank you goes out to the Dixie Chicks for proving there is still "Freedom of Speech in America" Also the award for "the biggest idiots in America" goes to ever single country radio DJ and television station that banned the chicks and refused to play their songs. Especially since country music doesnt have that many shining stars. Not only did the chicks get all of the fame and awards at the end of the night but they also proved that they weren't brainless blonde twits when they said that America shouldn't have gone to war in Iraq in the first place. As of right now, they have won their argument. For the record, Texas gals dont ever go down in fight, ever.....You made us proud, chicks....keep it up. P.S. Did anyone else want to strangle Carrie Underwood everytime she was shown on T.V., for ruining the Cowboys chances in the postseason.

Wasnt there a sunbelt tourney each year and it was in a different locale, and all toruney teams played each other until their was a champion. the super pit hosted it a few years back.

Diet Coke Boy is badass....Ill wont forget that national televised game on espn2 that one season that had some guy following DD all over the place with a little cup of Diet Coke. Then after each play DD would take a small sip and then proceed to the game at hand... I really feel sorry for the kid, I mean thats the kind of recruit you want in the end. One who makes a solid commitment and doesnt stand you up at the end. Dodge had his reasons and his new system, but the least he could have done was return his calls and at least told him he wasnt need so that he could look elsewhere... Overall bad publicity.....West Texas does have some really good recruits....Football is all they have over there........

Im a HUGE Mavs fan and have followed them since the early 90's, Im not kidding. Im from the DFW area. The Dallas Mavericks or the Phoenix Suns will win the NBA title this year. Who ever wins the west will win the league. There is not enough respect for the MAVS in the NBA, period. Stern is the worst commish in sports history, second is Selig. Dirk should be the MVP but it will go to Nash again....... Yes this is the best Mavs team ever and I believe they will go all the way.

I agree that Drew Pearson should have been a Hall of Fame inductee many many years ago, and a new lobby should be started to recognize his accolades to pursue him HOF of status. BUT......Michael Irvin more than deserves his induction, he worked his butt off for the Cowboys for 12 seasons, 3 Super Wins, he was also the best team leader on and off the field by pumping up his teammates and giving speeches before and after the game. Michael Irvin more than any other player continues his friendship with his teammates to this day, he continues to visit his old buddy Leon Lett at his N. Dallas home every other week. I think that is so way cool. Some mistakes, yeah.... The best period. FYI: My username was created after Michael Irvin's real name "The Playmaker"

Never knew Lamar Hunt's wife was a UNT alum.... Any chance we can court her to fund the new stadium under her husband's name, im sure she got a big chunk of what her husband left her, and she can make the decision without her husbands approval because of his passing. Lamar Hunt Field...... Sounds alot better than Fouts Field.
