Hands Down- New Conference..... I am so sick of playing no name teams from the Mason-Dixon Line The Stadium would come immediately after the conference change as the result of better rivalrys and in state opponents that would put a major push in the direction of something big being built.

Dont they need 30,000 seats to be in D-1 status. Like I always said Florida Atlantic and FIU seem to be Div 2 or 3 teams. And Fouts is a Div 2 or 3 Stadium as well.

Best of Luck Attendance is our biggest issue. Let's overcrowd Fouts so we can have more REASONS for a new stadium.

After all of that work and money that was put into the fountain, it cracks after the first rainstorm.... This needs to be looked into, those cracks and that crater was due to poor workmanship and materials....

Well all of that rain will end up in our area lakes..... We need the rain....

Huge flooding around Denton, Eagle, Locust, Carroll, Bernard, and Teasley, are all under water.... Eagle, Locust, and Carroll, the worst..... More and More storms are coming throughout the night, anyone who is intersted look at any radar and see this storm is mainly on Denton with huge rainfall amounts..... On the radio, Grande Mexican resturant was damaged with shattered windows, their was another business with a blown-off roof and also their was a 18 wheeler that tipped over from a possible tornado. I was near 35e and teasley and drove to the Brookshires where they had people go into the back of the store. Anyone who has more info....post.

When I arrived in Amman, Jordan in the summer of 05, I noticed a person boarding a taxi, wearing a North Texas shirt that was tan or brown and I was shocked and then when I went to the cafeteria section of the airport, the guy asked me if I went to college in the U.S. and I said yes, North Texas, he replied that he was currently applying to go there to attend IELI, (Intensive Extensive Language Institue) at North Texas. When I told him I was from Denton, he said yup that is where North Texas is located. We were taught in High School, that internationally Denton is more recognized than many large cities in the U.S. to people outside the U.S. because of the many international students who have attended UNT in the past and their families and friends are familiar with Denton.

Wasn't there supposed to be a "big announcement" regarding our new football stadium this Spring. Seems like th FIU people have it right, when they announced their "legitimate" stadium plans at their SPRING GAME

FFR, you are absoutely correct about your analysis. I remember that lady in DRC articles while the Eagle Point Center was being discussed. She was very vocal and made UNT redisgn what they initally wanted to do. She did get more trees put in as a buffer between the houses and UNT's Eagle Point. I forgot their was a railroad that went through that part of town actually. That is a really good point, cause if I remember correctly, Tremont is supposed to be a high priced subdivision, I never understood why, cause the locale isnt all that great, and with a railroad so close by, then I believe who ever bought a house in that vicinity that was high dollar got taken to the cleaners.....

There is still alot of work to be done....it's looking better

Turco played really well though.....Even the announcers were mentioning that this was the best Turco playoff performance ever. The announcers were too pissed off to talk after the game winning goal, later saying that was a huge kick in the testicles for the DALLAS STARS. Can they saw testicles on T.V., I guess they can on an affilate channel at 3 in the morning.

There is those kind of connections with bowls, i.e. the ForthWorth / Armed Services Bowl and TCU Too Bad Navy wont get one of those six wins against us.....

The game is on CHannel 27 for the metroplex, the score is 4-4 and they are now in their fourth OT. Huge Playoff game, and momentum builder for the winner. Currently trying to finich up a Business Plan for one of my classes and I cant get my eyes of this game.... I know its 2 in the morning but wow hockey playoffs are the best.
