ANY COACH who comes into this program next season is going to clean house..... Also I wouldnt be suprised if we have an interim coach by the middle of the season.

More like a program that has hit rock bottom. More like a program that has hit rock bottom. Most of the games this season the alumni parking lot at Fouts was 3/4 empty right before game time and the $10 parking was filled with students who act like its the Fry Street Fair at the Fouts parking lot. The team has only won 5 home games in the last five years. Does anyone really believe Dodge/Dodge can lead UNT to a 7-5 record next season, highly doubtful at best.

They immediately got rid of their coach and brought a new coaching staff and we got rid of our only coach to led us to a bowl win.

Its safe to say that none of these coaches were hand picked from a High School 25 minutes away from their main campus.

The Texas Tech program had a complete implosion in just a few days. Amazing how everything can come crashing down in a short amount of time. I really wish NT had an opening this season compared to next year. Damn...It's not like we have anything to look forward to for the next season. It will be interesting where Mike Leach will end up after all of this and who is succesor might be. I think Tech has some rock solid facts about this case to let Leach get suspended and fired in a few days, and im sure they did a complete internal investigation for some time. Besides you dont punish someone who had a head injury and think he's faking it and make an example out of him for the rest of the team. Texas Tech will go back to the days of medicore football, man how I wish we could just achieve that at our program

If NT had a winning record or a turn around of any sort for the past three years, then you are able to take advantage of the Code Red Crisis going on at Lubbock right now..... But SMU looks alot better for any recruit that wants to stay in the metroplex. Leach will probably end up at another school after all of this is done.

It held us back when CUSA was seriously interested in UNT at that time and you can bet that it still is an issue. By the way great article, it shows alot of different scenarios and gave UNT hope to be in the CUSA, made me happy..

You know, perfect example.... On Dallas Drive in Denton, theres Spicy Treasures, an adult sex store in the middle of Denton. I went inside for the first time the other day to check it out for myself, they sell Huge Dildos, Vibrators, Inflatable Women, you name it and the city was okay with their existence. Across the street from spicy treasures is where my rental property is located. Across the street from the sex shop, is where my property was, Premier Gardens, an outdoor plant store during the spring season, which was raided, yes raided by the planning and code enforcement officers and the business was shut down, citations were given to the owner and they were forced to shut down and relocate in (1) day, even though they were an allowed use business in that location as a seasonal business. There is an ongoing internal investigation going on in the COD as to why they were shut down and if it was on purpose. They were within the law to be there and were raided as if it was an illegal business. The city is in big trouble for shutting down their business and running off the third- straight tenant from that particular property. That is why I am developing the property into something different for re-use and the city has blackballed that developement since April 09. The only reason this isnt in the newspapers or in the local media, is because I told the city, I dont want Denton to have another black eye from bad publicity and want developers to come here in and develop Denton and I kept it under wraps. Call the local city managers office (940) 349-8200 and ask them why this happened. Also ask the city why 12 inch dildos can be sold on one side of the street and plant bedding and shrubs couldn't be sold on the other side of the street. What ever happened to keep Denton beautiful.

Its been two years, these developers should bring back the entire development for a re-vote, I work with the city on a daily basis on a project I am doing here in Denton. I am about two weeks from obtaining my bldg permit and it has been a nightmare, believe me....It has been almost 8 months and I am just building a 2300sqft bldg on infill property. But the city wants the land to be developed because it is an eyesore, it has sat there for over 3 years, if they rehatched their plans they will win even witht the CVS and the drive-thru. Put in more bars, clubs, retail, resturants, and build all of the bldgs to be at least three stories and have residential lofts on top. IT would be perfect. Make Denton a nightlife destination.

The city of Denton is really hard to work with and will cause any developer to run out of this town, lets hope this continues with this lame project.... 210 ???? are you serious, how will you fit that in the property, ahhhhh yes a parking garage, how practical....

We have a winner...... Face it the Dodge/ Doge combo won't be going anywhere and we are forced to face another miserable season, RV expects Dodge to be 7-5 next season like SMU was this year. BASED ON WHAT, because SMU could do it, we can do it up in Denton. Start making the necessary changes and you might even see more success than SMU, we have an easy schedule each year because we play just one body bag game, the rest of the games are winnable, at least they were during the Dickey tenure. TCU- BCS Game SMU- Hawaii Bowl Champs UNT- Metroplex team? RV must still believe it because Dodge got a one year extension to make it happen

Yeah I got four inches here in S. Denton, ventured out around the block and did 2 180s... Really treachrous conditions, be safe.

This is awful... This really is a prime commercial strip of land, it really is. Such a shame tat more student housing is on the way. I really wish the old development of new resturants and retail comes back into play. Give CVS the damn drive-thru and instead of this terrible idea.

It pisses me off so much that the temp currently in Denton is 31 and the snow isnt sticking... The temp yesterday being 75 didnt help either since the ground is still somewhat warm....Only in North Texas... And yes she's hot.

NORTH TEXAS BEATS CINCY 24-19..... Enough Said.....Number #3 team in the nation today. Huge for the program and for people to finally stop making excuses about getting behind this team... Those four straight conference championship had alot of talented and never give up players.... Miss it so much...

The Sun Belt sucks.... The best chance to get of that conference was after our four straight conference titles but UTEP was picked ahead of us, we were the perfect pick, we were replacing the other metroplex team. NT didnt have its stuff together the result is where we are now.
