Nice to stadium progress in the North Texas Region, speaking of which, I talked with a person who has a good position on campus that the stadium money is there to spend and that we will be looking at 2009 to 2010 to groundbreak for the stadium... Also the Radisson is going to be replaced by a very nice hotel that will be oversaw by the School of Hospitality Management, way to go on that front.... patethic as usual with stadium progress news

I would take the MAC in a heartbeat... The MAC has more bowl invites, better known teams, better t.v. exposure, and isnt a league that has worst stats than a I-AA conference. WAC sucks but better opponents hands down... I would prefer a conference alignment anyday over a new stadium, if you really think about it, we are not getting a new stadium... 1. Fouts got a new field, new bathrooms, and new facade...if a stadium was coming those wouldnt have happened to save money 2. Promises, commitments, and Timelines have all been broken by the Athletic Department 3. We lost President Norval Pohl, one of the greatest supporter of UNT Athletics in history, even better than some in the Athletic Department. We lost out BIG TIME when we got pushed aside for UTEP, I mean we were the better candidate, seriously, we were taking TCU's spot, they needed a metroplex team to compete with SMU and a big media market. We lost out because we didnt have baseball, are you F**&*#% kidding me.... We are a University system with 35,000 students and over 110 years of traditions, FIX THE DAMN PROBLEM ALREADY!!!!

You know the City of Denton is actually cracking down and stepping up their efforts to rid the city of substantard structures within the city. They give the structure 60 days to be corrected and brought up to shape, or it becomes condemned by the cuty and tore down afterwards. So if anybody want to call the city's building inspection department to report this nuisance.... I think we might have found our solution to tearing down fouts...

That had to be if not the best GoMeanGreen Football game ever... I totally agree with Emmitt that this is the way the game is supoosed to be played and enjoyed. Everyone had a great time and the game itself proved to be as dramatic as it can get for a flag football game... Big Props to Steve (MedPilot) for putting this together and Rick for the fantastic BBQ. Both teams played really well and the game could have gone either way... But Im glad my last minute touchdown made the difference. Go Green Team and Mean Green Nation.....Great Game to everyone

Rayzor Ranch has plans to build a 12 story Marriott full service hotel and convention center in Denton... But insider word has it that the entire Rayzor Ranch project lost financing because of the subprime mortgage issue and the entire project is in the tank... That also included the new Walmart and Sam's Club.... How can a city of 120,000 only have one Walmart in town....

You're right it is the responsibilty of the City of Denton and it will not be done anytime soon... I always thought that Denton didn't appreciate UNT being in their background and have always took them for granted... But I do know that UNT is too good for the city of Denton.

Everyone is saying that the AC needs some major repairs to be done quick Bonnie Brae is awful, needs to be extended to four lanes, because you have a busy subdivision, tennis courts, softball, a huge dorm and the AC..... Something needs to be done ASAP.

Played in GMG.com Bowls 2, 3, and 4. Decent Receiver and can do well with man to man coverage in defense. Played intramural flag football for my fraternity (Delta Sigma Phi) during the Fall semester. 5'10, 160lbs, and in shape...
