You know at the beginning of the season, I wanted a coaching change, so bad because I wanted to see what was out there for us. But you know what, after the Ball State game, I saw major changes in Defense and Offense and especially the Special Teams. We have two major drawbacks here at our football program, Our conference and our budget, and for a short time, stadium I can't guarantee we will get better with a new coach, cause we cant afford one, we dont play exciting well known teams and we currently play in a Grade C High School Football Stadium It all starts with the right recruits and then you will see results. Thats the bottom line.... Anyone with knowledge of the game can coach. Look at Barry Switzer and the talent he had to go to the Super Bowl and actually win. Talent. For now, im behind Coach Dodge and 100% behind our team and hopefully things will pick up. Also in all reality, Coach Dodge will be here this season and next season, because his security blanket is Riley Dodge, the starting QB who he hopes matures with the team We lost the Ohio and MTSU because of turnovers, nothing else, we beat ourselves out of a win, lets just face it.

This week all non-BCS conferences besides the MAC have a Very Strong BCS breaker CUSA: Houston M-WEST: TCU WAC: BSU We really need to get into one of these conferences, I know the WAC is the least likely one from the three, but its better. But I just can never get excited playing these Sun Belt teams here at Home. I mean playing a well known team such as Louisana Tech, Boise State, Nevada, and Fresno State here at Fouts Field is alot more exciting then playing FIU, Western Kentucky, and Florida Atlantic. CUSA and M-WEST which is our biggest hope, would give us a close sell-out nearly every home game, especially if we play the likes of SMU, TCU, or Houston. I actually walked towards the visitor side before halftime and saw maybe 100 MTSU fans watching the game. We won four straight conference championships, (a feat that will never be topped again in the Sun Belt and is amazing in any conference), has netted us really nothing. Who you play and who you can attact into your home turf each Saturday will bring the droves of people and push attendance through the roof and attract recruits, coaches, and the fans into the stadium. Every team currently in the Sun Belt benefits from this despised conference, whether its in state rivalries, travel or logistics, or they dont see their program having the potential for anything better and/ or its their perfect fit. Im hoping the new stadium will help push us in the right direction and that direction is the immediate departure of the Sun Belt Conference and everyone can agree with me that this new stadium: CANNOT COME SOON ENOUGH

By the way, did anyone see that guy in the Orange/ Student parking lot with the huge University of Texas flag/ backdrop inside his tent..... LOL..... Im suprised no one went into his tent and set it on fire..... He was set up next us and frankly, I dont care since whoever wants to enjoy football and tailgating is welcome anytime.

Wow I am shocked really about Houston ranked as high as #17 and they took down Tech in a really good game and great home crowd. They will probably shoot up in the polls, especially with all of the upsets. Great job Houston, well played game, and Mike Leach looked dumbfounded

Hopefully they can overlook his playboy status and finally release or trade Romo... I actually dont think any team would really want him, why would they want someone who has done anything in four years and is turnover prone and a distraction.

Channel 21 KXTA, I believe ??????????? Has done an exactly job last year and this year with audio and video and the comentary was good as well. Now Channel 25, the local Denton channel has horrible audio and video, but its better than nothing. Hope they show the game on both channels

I say 6-2 as well and also losses to ULL and Troy, I think we could upset troy, but they are hard to beat at home. ULL is the best team in the belt, they improved last season and are tearing up this season. We have a chance against MTSU since we are at home, get riley back and are hungry for SBC wins

You know with the beautiful weather and the great day I had with my work and everything, this really made my day. My big thing is attendance and people getting the chance to follow the mean green on t.v. Fantastic news, great find, excellent exposure for our beloved university. Really appreciate the nice words....too bad you couldnt replace the sleazy SMU officials who oversaw our rejection into the SWC, now the BIG 12 and the recent rejection from CUSA from SMU officials. Would love to be conference mates with SMU and TCU

Im looking forward to going to the Greek Festival this next weekend.... It was great. Greek people are very nice and humble. Enjoyed it.... Baklava, Toubluleh, and Dolmas, and the Baklava Ice Cream, the best food.

Okay dammmmmit , I really want this win more than any other this season. I hate Saban more than any other coach and think he is evil... Monroe knocked them off, so we can too..... If it rains it will help us since we will learn from our rain mistakes. Keys to win the game: Limit turnovers and force turnovers and capitalize, Run the ball with your two stellar RBs, DL adds pressure and Dodge uses his knowledge against his former QB.
