  1. Hank is freaking killing me
  2. How many fouls on there big 2?
  3. Really? Tell that to the co-worker I brought to the Ohio and WKU games (luckily). The one who was contemplating buying season tickets for his family of 4. The one who told me that he doubts that will happen now. But, hey, who needs them, right?
  4. Well?
  5. Do they have a replay monitor at Texas Hall?
  6. Jeez. Killing them inside and we fall in love with the 3. This is almost church.
  7. 13 turnovers. Man, I hope Williams or Thomas can develop into a true point guard
  8. Sounds a little out of control.
  9. I"d say your right on this statement. Most of them have PHD degrees. They think it is a joke, not unacceptable.
  10. No, I don't think you would change your position if you experienced the media attention, your post on political threads make that perfectly clear, but I do think you may understand how MUCH pub this has gotten and how backhanded some of that pub has been. I don't care about two dudes being homecoming King or Queen, I care about how that makes UNT appear to everyone else. It makes us appear to be a stupid little Lib arts school that isn't serious about anything, much like nominating a chipmonk would if it had gotten this much publicity. The reason I will walk away is the fact that this a final straw that just demostrates how inept this school is in promoting itself and it's program. Why would you schedule this vote to end on this weekend!!! Yes, you were name calling and stereotyping. Isn't there a word for that? This will be used in recruiting. Just one more thing.
  11. Nice name calling. Everyone on here is talking about the effect this non-sensical vote is having on the publicity for the stadium and recruiting for the school, so I guess we are all homophobes? But, guess I should expect as much from you. I'll be out on season tickets and support next year if this passes. It has been a non-stop jokefest at UNT's expense all week where I work, when I call other associated businesses, and even from my next door neighbor. CBL, I wish you lived in the area and could experience the joke that your university has become over this one issue. It has been on every local newscast multiple times and is hugely overshadowing any publicity that the stadium groundbreaking would have generated. Must be nice to live thousands of miles away where you are unaffected by this vote.
  12. They caved after protests. Probably of about 10 students.
  13. I seriously considered dressing in drag as a UNT cheerleader, going on to the hospitality deck, and acting as gay as possible to drive home a point. But, in the modern day age of the internet, and a strong "no" from the boss, I have decided against this tactic.
  14. Interesting...thx
  15. I'm more concerned about the players parents than I am about the players. This won't sit well with many of them.
  16. Since I have not only had numerous comments made to my face about this subject, but have also walked up on ongoing conversations about this subject in which none of the participants were UNT grads, I wonder the effect this publicity will have on this recruiting season. Every comment made to me and every conversation I have heard has been negative toward the university (basically rolling of the eyes and statements similiar to "there they go again. what are they thinking up there?"). Now, with groundbreaking coming the same day as the announcement on this really, really stupid vote, which do you think will get top billing in the local media? I think we all know the answer. The SGA could have quashed this if they would have simply held their ground and voted their previously stated beliefs (Flyer, please tell me you were the one vote against), but they chose to cave to political pressure.
  17. What is that Chl. Got Dish.
  18. I think he is getting the V-Neck redshirt.
  19. I really, really, really, hope your right.
  20. "We have to be the more disciplined, the more relentless, the more precise outfit.” I guarantee that they will be.
  21. We all value the opinion of Mr. Mosley and appreciate the contribution that his son is making to the program. I do wonder if Mr. Mosley may be a little to close to the situation to evaluate it fairly. I hope he is right. I hope we go bowling next year. I just don't see it. We could be 6-4 if we scored X more points. Hell, we could be 10-0 if we had won our first ten games. What do those sentences have in common? We didn't do either. It is fools gold to say "if only this" or "if only that". The "if only" graveyard is littered with the skeletons of former college football coaches. I see a team that is playing far worse than they did their first 2 games of the year, especially defensively and on special teams. Please, someone give me one good reason why they think this team will be better next year. A good reason, not the typical "we are young" excuse that ignores the fact the almost all of our starters have double digit starts at the college level. Mr. Mosley, I hope your right, I hope this team works their tails off in the off season, gets bigger at every position, focuses on becoming better, and makes all of us who have lost faith eat our words. I am just beginning to wonder if Coach Dodge is in over his head at this level. We all agree that the only thing missing from Todd Dodge the coach is wins. Unfortunately, that is a pretty important component.
  22. Problem is, this is the banker to which this country pays mortgage, car payment, boat payment, 2nd mortgage, third mortgage, fourth mortgage, fifth mortgage, 300,000th mortgage. It looks like our banker is more than slightly concerned about this country's credit rating. That should tell you all you need to know about the cost of this steaming pile of dung.
  23. I'm sure that the jobs were created, they just didn't ID them in the right place. Harmless error. What will not be harmless error is when these same government minions are allowed to run your health care and get it all jacked up like they have this website. Why anyone thinks government is the answer to Health Care (or anything, for that matter) is beyond me.
  24. That's assuming Cincy wins, which I don't think will happen.
