This really jumped out at me. So, if we do win 7 games next year, we will probably have the biggest turnaround in D1A football. For those of you predicting an 8 win season, you may want to consider the fact that winning 8 games next year will most likely be a turnaround that tops every other program in the nation. Pardon me for being highly skeptical that anything close to this will happen.

It seems to me that assistants on the defensive side of the ball seem to make the better head coach, not only in college, but in the NFL as well. Parcell, J Johnson, Billicheck, Patterson, Saban, Meyer (?), are a few that come to mind. Sure would be interesting to see some research into the assistant coaching background of current successful head coaches. Tasty??

I don't understand why people are so hot to hire 2 coaches that have failed miserably at programs with far more resources than UNT. I wouldn't want either of these 2 guys. Give me TCU's defensive coordinator or a successful D1AA Head coach in a second over these 2 highly overrated losers.

No, wasn't serious at all. I'm sure he is a fine man, but I'm also sure he is a High School Coach. If we do decide to go "in another direction," I hope we go in another direction.
