Sigh... First, thank you for the second informative paragraph. That's what I was looking for. As far as the first paragraph:

MGB: Breaking news -- Hoston will not play for UNT
UNT90 replied to Brett Vito's topic in Mean Green Football
We all knew if half these fall JUCOs qualified, UNT would be very fortunate. Well, the realistic ones among us knew, anyway...- 23 replies

UNT, TWU ready for campus carry
UNT90 replied to Skipper's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
Every college opposes it. Isn't it funny how liberal college life is so judgey of those who want to legally carry a gun. It seems the only person you think is smart enough to carry a gun is you. If that's even true... -
Sounds like a kid who can't say no on recruiting trips...

Sorry you have such a low opinion of UNT.
-
See, this would get me a stern be nice warning, but since it's directed at me, no worries. #mystruggle.

Them mofos know who I am. It's a done deal.

Tactical and strategic planning. You are talking tactical, I am talking strategic. And if you don't expect it, it will never happen. That's how an AD with a revenue sports record of 150 games under .500 sticks around for 15 years. Because no one expects to do better. Its a new day. We should try to embrace it with raised expectations.

Well, you probably missed a couple of posts considering I post 3 times a minute...

Why do I always have to point out the low expectations of this program and its fans? #mystruggle.

It shows where this fan base and this university views it's athletic program. And that's pretty sad.

Scheduling - Opportunities and Challenges
UNT90 replied to MeanGreenMailbox aka TFLF's topic in Mean Green Football
Right. Just 25 times by Big 12 teams alone with G5s by your own count. Zero with UNT. You have now started 2 threads in an attempt to spin your way to bring right ro defend the indefensible RV scheduling which you have consistently defended. When I warned that a loss to an FCS at home could cause unbelievable damage to this fragile program, you poo pooed it away. Then it happened. Every other CUSA mate but one has a P5 at home on future schedules. You ignore this. All to defend the indefensible. Its ok to admit when you are wrong. Really- 28 replies

Because the Big 12 is currently taking applications...
-
Good for Arkansas St for expecting more. I haven't seen one post on here wanting UNT to apply...
-
Agree. The one caveat is if Fine or some other recruit proves to be an exceptional CUSA QB. That can cover a lot of warts on a G5 football team.
-
No. It's the Big 1 and the little 2 as far as the media is concerned.

Skladany DID have a problem in 2014 when the offense became the king of the three and out. Those problems continued under Cosh. I think Skladany saw the talent he had coming back on defense and knew that he was going to get zero help from the offense and bailed. Pretty smart on his part, don't you think? What do you consider "not a problem" as far as Ekler is concerned and are you really prepared to "bet money" or was that just an expression. Because if you don't crawfish like Ben, maybe we can work something out. 65 scholarship players.

Any small town in Texas is the meth capital of Texas. But they usually leave you alone and we are well... equipped to deal with the ones that don't. 'Murica!!
-
Did you even read what I posted? And holding Cosh accountable for coaching one year of a defense on which he had no personnel that he recruited and following a DC that didn't recruit is ridiculous and show a lack of a college football IQ.

I'm more of an 1890 Grille type guy. That's how much school spirit I have. Although I do go to Cari's Diner for a great breakfast occasionally. I hear their lunch is really good, also. Corner of 377 and Davis Dr. Don't look like much, but quite the surprise. I don't even think there is a Luby's in Granbury.

We disagree.
